Anyone that buys all Pokemon games in a generation make me sick. Okay, I got Gold and Crystal as a kid but I'd never fall for that today.

A lot of people will feel good they waited on not to get this. Some people were sadly still planning on getting a Wii U for this and their wait paid off. They will throw some key words around like 1080p 60fps and people will jump. Reviewer are going to like it more than Wii U version. They will sadly say it better and feels more modern without the gamepad. This is the industry I once loved.
Nah people already pooping on it not Wii U owners. Besides Ubi is already showing no faith in it. Just reusing the Wii U CGI trailer and only 2 weeks before launch and digital only. It's going to flop again. No one will be reviewing it. It's a gimped port 2 weeks before launch and when are ports handed out as review units or codes of a 2 year old game? It will only do ok free on PS+. It's when I will try it because I would never pay money for it.

kind of wish it didnt make it in, the movie is incredibly bad (and no, I'm not basing that off early reviews, it was really, really painful to watch)

The PlayStation 4 is doing extremely well — Sony’s console has sold over 22 million units worldwide, almost double the number of Xbox One consoles. But when it comes to Europe, the difference is much greater.
According to Sony themselves, the PS4 is enjoying 70% to 90% market share in Europe, depending on the country. Speaking to VG247, Sony’s Jim Ryan revealed just how well the PS4 is doing in Europe.
“We have market leadership in every country in Europe, and have very significant market leadership in continental Europe” he said, adding “I don’t think market-share’s any less than 70%, and frequently greater than 90% in continental Europe.”

sure we have the best exclusives, but it would be good to have some of the decent multiplats to play in between the releases of the amazing exclusives

They always do too much. Why do you think the games are so buggy.
It's the nature of games development these and they aren't the only ones who make ambitious games and many other developers are the same. Besides they release patches to fix any issues and I personally would rather have a more ambitious game then one that isn't. Nintendo first party games as good as they typically are are not ambitious and Nintendo tends to play it safe like they do with there hardware which in today's competitive market isn't necessarily a good thing either.

Ok, that's enough of that. We get it that you hated Nintendo's E3 and you might hate nintendo. You've repeated it several times to the point of trying to push it on all of us, whether we actually cared or not. Some of us can ignore it, while others might not.
If your posts aren't going to encourage decent discussion and are just for venting or wanting a yelling contest, you will find that we will lock the threads and take action if need be.
But goddamn, it's been 2 days now, chill out. You can have a PS4 thread, but you don't need to make it an anti-nintendo thread too, it just gets tiresome.

I think the problem a lot of people are having here is that the game isn't finished in terms of content, even if said content is being added later on. If literally any other company besides Nintendo released a game light on content but said the rest of it is 'coming soon over the next few months' and released it at the full $60 anyway, the gaming community (and I'm sure this includes a few people here, too) would be in an uproar. And really, making a game where most of the focus is on the multiplayer anyway only have one game mode and five maps at launch is...kinda sad, regardless of the originality of the game itself. I'm pretty sure even the first Call of Duty to support online had more content than that at launch.
It's like if they released Smash Bros with half the characters of the previous title, one game mode, and a third of the stages, but still charged $60 and said "Eeeeh, we'll get the rest out eventually we just want our money." There's no excuse when other companies are releasing full online experiences with their games from the start, and then adding to /that/ at a later date.
I know I'm certainly not buying it until they add more content and I can get a few other games off of my Nintendo backlog first. (Though that last part is really no fault of Nintendo's, I'm just a lazy bum with a large Playstation backlog too >_>) But that is to say, I'm sure it's a great game. It seems wildly original and a lot of fun, it's just not worth my $48+tax at this point.
Like other people in this thread have said, it's just a good, currently-unfinished game with a lot of polish.
