I imagine Sony and Microsoft will make a BIG leap but then to utilise that power will take time. In the meantime the Wii U can build a solid base of consumers to attract 3rd parties.

You must be a little behind the times , if you check most the recent articles - it shows the power of next Sony/MS gen systems - Sony is only 2-3x more powerful than the Wii U and the Nextbox is 4-5x more powerful - they seem to be focusing on different ways to game over raw power. I say if anything their choices opens up the playing field for a very fair console race that Nintendo can do well in...after all - they are starting to enter territory that Nintendo has been comfortable in since the dawn of gaming as we know it.

Yeah, and they know because there consoles are selling great... O wait T_T

I mean just give me a break.  The gamepad is what distinguishes the WiiU, but that doesn't mean the game cannot still be played using the gamepad or pro controller.  This is pretty much a diss.

There is nothing wrong or lazy with this reasoning. I'm glad they didn't try to patch this game together with GamePad support for the Wii U. In a separate interview they said that they would want to do the game right and would want to use the GamePad to its fullest. This isn't a negative article at all, your just reading into it way to much.

I never really thought of this until now. Your reasoning for it though is invalid since reset buttons generally don't work on frozen consoles. I had the same issue a few times where I turn off the gamepad and the system does not, I always had to unplug power to get it to go off.

It definitely does work - the gamepad may not of been synced with the console. Who knows.

It sounds like we wont be getting a Xenoblade sequel..or anything like it - but still..mark me as super excited! It just sucks that the way their talking is ...they haven't started yet...boo

Just played the demo a few hours ago and I'm even more excited for this game. The Castle Rock level was hilarious, I love how they took Black Betty and made it their own for the level. I was dying laughing ..all while thoroughly enjoying myself.

Please respond to my actual points without simply failing back on "you have to respect my faith". The fact of the matter is I don't have to respect your faith anymore then I have to respect the sports team you support.

It's called faith , to believe What's in the Bible is true. A lot of right wing crazy people are nothing, but Hippocrates. For example - it speaks out against gays, yet it also says to love thy neighbors as thy would love thyself. There is a lot of hate. I may not agree with gays , But I have gay friends and love them all the same. Just because some people are fanatical doesn't make them all. Also don't compare anything to the joke called the Catholic church.

While I'm not the most devoted Christian, I do have a strong faith in God and I read the bible. I try to be the best person I can be. However I 100% agree with Noona, everyone is entitled to believe what they believe as we all have free will. It's not anyone's place in this world to pass judgement on others.

Nintendo will be fine, if the rumors about the Xbox 8, and PS Omni are true, then they are going to be 10x more gimmicky that the Wii and Wii U combined. Also developers been very vocal about current Gen lasting so long. We will see the best 3rd party support on a Nintendo console since the SNES. All the signs are there.

WOW really dude? I hate DLC myself but bieng a huge Mass Effect fan I had to buy it, seriously you should play Mass Effect's DLC it really adds to the story, and I've said this before too, I am a huge fan of Mass Effect, I have a lot of the comic books, I have all of the graphic novels, I have some of the collectibles too, I've personally sunk over 1000 hours in across all 3 games and I will be going to see the planned Mass Effect movie when it comes out, but guess what? For me in my opinion the Wii U Mass Effect 3 is useless.

You have no idea how ashamed I am of never player ME. I love the style of games, BioWare is one of my favorite dev's, and I'm a huge sci-fi geek. I just always had something else I was playing. Right now I'm not playing through anything major, I'm debating if I should just download them on my PC or pick them up cheap on my 360 or something. I guess I could wait for a definitive trilogy or something on the Wii U, but it most likely won't be until quite a bit after the other ones are out.
