I'm sorry but streaming is not much of a strain at all, from what I can tell we also don't know if it is an optional features that devs can choose to use, or not to use.
The WiiU has been out for months and shown nothing beyond what is now last gen capabilities. It is likely similar powerwise to the wii last gen. We shall see, but given Nintendo's recent track record and so on, I would expect the wiiU to be limited in comparison.

All the released Wii U games were developed on last gen tech which is why none of the games look mind blowing yet. FYI. Wait until we see new games with the new engines before you say its last Gen.

This is ridiculous. I question every one of these threads and why you are on this forum. Obviously your not Nintendo FANS if your this fickle. If your playing video games for graphics, buy a PC and GTFO. At least wait until we see side by side comparisons of games out on the Wii U/PS4/720 before you complain about the Wii U being under powered. This is getting ridiculous. For all you people moaning about Nintendo being left in the dust or dying and less powerful wah wah wah, sell your Wii U and go join the PS4/720 forums please. Do us a friggan favor.

Iv'e tried Google and Youtube but does anyone know -

1. Will PS4 play used games?

2. Is a new PSHome there answer to Miiverse?

3. Any idea on what month its launched?

4. Price for the Sony version of Xbox live service?

5. Does the above mean its pay to play online?

I will buy one of the other two systems but not sure which yet...

Nothing else has been mentioned on your list - they just said holiday 2013...guessing everything else will be shown off at E3.

My biggest want is it has to utilize online functionality, and I don't mean Miiverse integration. I'm talking if I have no one to play with in the house, that I can join a party online to play with. That is paramount.

1) Online functionality
2) More boards to choose from
3) Player created content such as boards
4) More characters to choose from
5) More uniqueness to each individual gameboard
6) DLC is huge as well - board packs - character packs - etc etc.

Excellent, I'm actually interested to see screens side by side now of the different versions. This hopefully will look just as good as it does on ps4 and next box so people can shut up about the Wii U being the lesser of the next gen in raw power.

I'm so glad this is coming to the Wii U, but I'll be getting this on PS4. It will be the graphically superior version, and therefore the better version.

But who knows, maybe my opinion will change between now and then.

B that is the most not good thing I ever seen you type. Gameplay is king...I can't see the graphics being that much better, and if they make unique features using the Gamepad then the Wii U can be a much better version. Realistically it will be like that for a lot of 3rd party multiplatform games....proper utilization of the GamePad can really be huge in deciding which version. Especially if the graphical difference isn't as big as people think.

I was not expecting this at all..I figured like a 30 min conference to tease us...this really blew me away. I don't think Nintendo has to worry...Microsoft however...better work some black magic or they can be in the basement with the new gen.

Not in my eyes will it fail, so you have to have the net to play?Not a big deal. Everything connects to the net even tvs it was a logical step given the piracy problems.Doubt very much if it will connect with wp8 given that its ms baby.

While yes, you are correct that everything is connected now a days. There are still a lot of people without broadband internet. I can already see the massive backlash they would get from casual gamers or parents buying for their kids and not knowing this...only to find out Christmas day they can't play their new video games because they don't have broadband.

I would have to disagree with Mr. Miyamoto. Games are pure expression of the devs. Why would someone say a game like Okami or Earthbound isnt art?

Unfortunately its all subjective. A lot of people don't consider video games OR movies art. My personal opinion is that they are more of an art form than any of the garbage they call "modern art" is.

I was wondering the same thing. I think people seen how popular Nintendo Directs have gotten and they want to hype up stuff without having to stuff it all in at E3.

New interesting rumor..a Sega employee said by the time they got the game it was crap due to Gearbox spending a chunk of development money on finishing Borderlands, which is why they outsourced a lot of development. IF this is true, I just lost a lot of respect for Gearbox and if I was Sega I would make a stink about it.
