#110937 I just can't support most of the launch titles...

Mario's been everywhere except heaven and hell. They should focus on a 64 inspired game.

Ask Reggie. He's the only person who knows for sure and speaks fluent English.

That's cool.

ZombiU and Tekken are going to be fairly competitive, great games.

As for the launch titles, I feel more inclined to buy titles like ZombiU, Assassin's Creed III and Black Ops II. Suits my gaming tastes more than the likes of New Super Mario Bros. U or Nintendo Land. I would say Tekken, but I'd rather play a 2D fighter like VS Capcom or BlazBlue.

As for the launch strategy, one of the biggest problems that 3rd party developers have had is selling games on Nintendo consoles. People tend to buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games, and while that sounds good for Nintendo, it's actually bad. Nintendo would rather be able to sell everything on their console, and inevitably maximise their sales doing so. That's why they are deliberately holding back on their own key titles and releasing them at what they believe are the correct intervals. Along with that, a lot of the wanted games have probably not reached any stage of development, or have been left on the back burner.

And most of the great games are not even Launch day titles..I.think this just prooves that Nintendo is rushing the Wii U out due to financial lost.

Are you smoking something?  Did you even look up this information before posting? Not only are 22 games available at launch...which by the way is far more than any other launch...  but It's also the most solid lineup EVER. If your bored by the launch lineup then No console launch will ever satiate you

#109840 Favorite Portable Gaming System

Posted by Noonabites on 18 September 2012 - 07:17 PM

DS

I wanted to say this one... It's really such a good portable.. the innovation that came about for some of those titles.. It's such a good system.

--x--x--x--

I have a love for a lot of the older generation portables. Considering portable gaming is my preferred console, I went with the Gameboy SP. It had the ability to play GB, GBC and GBA games and had some amazing ports from my favorite console. I mean.. how can you go wrong with this one?

It looks gorgeous in HD...now I can't wait to see it on my big TV in all its HD glory....! What has me so excited though...isn't just how good this looks..but how amazing other games potentially can look!

#108711 not very much memory

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 16 September 2012 - 01:54 PM

You people amaze me. Nintendo gives us the greatest solution in terms of memory capacity and money saving, and you complain? Are you guys kidding me? You complain that both Sony and Xbox have proprietary memory and that it is expensive. Nintendo is giving us the option of expanding however we see fit. And it will be extremely cheaper on us. SD cards with high capacities are fairly cheap, and so are external hard drives. Honestly people just look for something to complain about. Shut up and accept the fact that a company is trying to help you out in terms of price on a console by trying to make it affordable for you.

#108709 not very much memory

Posted by Keviin on 16 September 2012 - 01:50 PM

What makes you so sure the Wii U version of Call Of Duty Black Ops II is going to be the best. It's still in development as are the other versions and no one can say yet which version or versions will be the best. As far as I can see so far the only advantage the Wii U version has is that you can play co-op using the tablet and the TV for two separate players. That alone doesn't in any way make it better.

Whether its a simple solution or not is not the point. It's still inconvenient and ridiculous to expect people to provide their own external solutions when storage capacity is so cheap these days. They are promoting their online eShop including the ability to download retail games yet they are only offering a maximum of 32GB internal storage. In this day and age that is not acceptable. As for the backlash compared to what Sony and Microsoft have been getting I have no idea what you're referring to.

That's a poor and inexcusable reason considering how cheap internal storage is these days.

32 unacceptable? Worlds best selling tablet says hi.

So you would rather pay more for built in storage than go out and buy something that'll cost cheaper altogether? It's not inconvenient considering all major retailers sell some from of external storage. In fact, it's convenient on our pockets.

Sony included no internal memory on the Vita and sold proprietary solutions that were expensive. Microsoft is almost completely proprietary and expensive. Both receive backlash. Nintendo offers cheap solution, receives backlash. It's contradicting (and annoying).
