Anyone else think the new 3ds is pretty much a wii u gamepad in your hands? All controls are now there, nfc built in.......
I will be mildly surprised if they don't have an option to use it as a controller for the Wii U.

Whats hilarious, was nintendo thought this name was foolproof.
'Well, nobody knew the wii u was a new wii. So lets put NEW in the name of the 3ds! NEW 3ds!'

Bought my 3DS XL in may and really enjoy it, bought my nephew Zelda: Link Between worlds for his DS. I subsequently learned he had an older DS and could not play it. (my fault for not checking) Now another version is coming out called "New 3ds", Nintendo's marketing department sucks at naming their products.

Wow I really like that they paid attention to the small detail of switching the next race and view highlight reel options. 
It was really bothering me, but I didnn't even hear people complaining about it much.

Man, Nintendo is about to make a crapload of money off this DLC.
Maybe other companies will see ho to correctly do DLC after this is a huge success.

What's funny about this is. Sonic Racing made a great MK clone. Transformed made it better and used transitional music cues and more SEGA crossovers.
Mario Kart 8 has alot of what made Transformed great in it including those transitional music cues now they are using mutliple Nintendo characters. I bet next game won't be a Mario kart but a Nintendo Kart.

I guess it's obvious. Wii U owners don't really care about achievements. The contrast compared to the other console's crowd is kind of funny. 
Most of us came from a time and place that had real game design with real achievements, instead of a skinnerbox design.
For us chievos and trophies will never be anything more than a sad imitation that completely misunderstands what its attempting to imitate. If you need to be told that you 'achieved' something, to know that you 'achieved' something, you have discovered a spectacular failure of game design, and you havent achieved diddly squat, the skinner box just tossed you a chunk of cheese.

Achievements are meaningless and I rather not have them. But if they are there I wouldn't mind and will probably be compelled to get them just because it would still be something I hadn't finished yet for that game. I'd rather there be a way to turn them on or off. That way I won't have to bother with seeing the You Got Whatever Achievement on my screen.
Actually, I believe both the PS3/4 have a setting to turn off the trophy notifications. Not sure about the Xbox 360/XBO.

I don't like either of them at all. But Dark Pit is the worst of the three. Not even a new model just a color swap.
PS: I wonder if Dark Pit will have a white costume and vice versa. Would be hilarious.
Yeah I don't like clones either.... This roster needs more snake.
I dunno I'm okay with clones on on hand, cuz they're free characters and thats okay
