It can run games in 1080P, I really do not understand all the spec ho's that whine and cry about the wii u. If you wanted the most powerful console on the market you should have waited. Obviously The ps4 and next xbox will have better spec's as they will probably have over a year for extra development. People need to learn to enjoy games for what they are, Which is Fun. Games can be a tonne of fun and don't have to have world leading graphics to be fun.
People can sit on internet forums all day and argue with each other about which console is better and has better graphics etc etc, But at the end of the day no matter what console you own if you can sit down, play it and have a good time who gives a crap if another console has a slightly better or 10x better CPU etc. Get over it and enjoy the games.

You have to go into the Wii channel to play Wii games. Common sense really. Also there is a search bar for this kind of thing.

I tend to order most of my games online, from countries like England and Hong Kong, Only because the prices vary so much compared to instore. I got Halo 4 delivered to my door on launch day for about $54aud. Yet in shops the cheapest i saw was like $80aud. Im all for supporting the local game stores, But when the price is that different i cannot justify it. When there isnt much gap in price like say $10-20 then i will support local.

I can understand most of your points. But comparing it to the 360 is like apples to oranges, The 360 has had years to develop and is a completely different type of console. You sound more like a hardcore type gamer, Which is probably why you prefer the 360. Although nintento is slowly coming around to focus on the harcore audience as much as the casual gamer i feel for someone like you it was a "to little to late" scenario with the Wii u.

I think wait until early next year and leading to and beyond e3 we will have a lot more info on upcoming Wii u titles, Nintendo is going to have to make a strong impression because they will most likely be the only 1 of the big 3 to not show off new hardware. So software is what's going to bring them home, I have a feeling we will see a few heavy hitters.

I blame all the 12 year olds. I no i cut some members down sometimes, but its simply because of stupidity. Do we really need 10 different threads about the wii's CPU, or the console freezing. Or gamepad protectors etc. A single thread is enough. Honestly at one point there was 3 threads all next to each other about "A developer from " Insert company" say this about the wii u"

Im pretty sure when you hook it up to the console it will wipe everything anyway, because it will have to format the hdd into the format the wii u can read.

I would suggest rubber ones. Only because a lot of the cheaper companies make hard plastic ones which are not cut 100%. With the gamepad being moved around etc it has the potential to scratch the gamepad from the inside. Much like the really cheap plastic phone cases can unless they are lined by cotton or similar.
