I do think Nintendo should lay a foundation of creating games that appeal specifically toward the 17+ gamers, giving third-party developers more conifdence in developing "mature" titles on their platforms. However, I think it's more productive for Nintendo to create different franchises (like they did with Rare) instead of "maturizing" their exisiting ones. Nintendo's franchises just can't convincingly transition to "mature" ones the same way Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia have. Remember how Shadow the Hedgehog turned out? Granted, it wasn't an M-rated game (hell, it wasn't even a T-rated one), but Sega attempted to give the Sonic franchise a darker edge by giving one of the characters, Shadow, a sub-machine gun, and it was considered to be one of the biggest failures in the franchise's history. Putting a gun in Mario's hand will shake the industry in pieces all right. It will be one giant step for the gaming industry to turn into a desperate joke.

I disagree with you, if Nint endo change there franchises that drastically will actually make there current fans sicken. I would rather see a brand new IPs than changing there current franchises to suit the wants of the hardcore.

Poem for school on a story called "The School master" by Earl Lovelace
The Poem will only be on the first chapter, and it was important to retain all information from it.

Here's a summary of the whole story, so it's kinda easier to understand:
Earl Lovelace's second novel tells the story of an isolated rural community coming in touch with the wider world. The villages learn, only too cruelly, that "progress" can mean the destruction of cherished values. Introduction by Cecil Gray.

Anyways, here's the poem I wrote:


Kumaca, Kumaca, Kumaca...
the place where the leaves dance in the wind,
where people are simple.
These people live off of Cocoa harvesting,
and a few off of betting on game-cocks. (a.k.a. chicken fights)

These people have dreams,
as nice as can be.
They're all waiting for the fête (big party at the end of harvest)
even Pedro, (pronounce it as Peedro)
who's never heard of a speedo. (those small swim trunks)

Pedro warned Miguel of a non-existent snake,
which worked as bait
to anger Miguel.
To add salt to the wound,
he teases him 'bout his cocks. (The chicken he has that fight)

On the way back,
Pedro thinks to himself "drat!"
He didn't get to see Christiana today,
who's as beautiful as no other.

Pedro and Robert discuss,
'bout their father,
who's distancing himself,
further and further
now becoming drunkard.

They'd (Pedro and Robert) like it if the school were built,
so they hope the beans will soon be spilt.

Now, at the meeting (about the building of the school)
Lucien was speaking.
He agreed to building a school
and thought it'd be cool.

The next to speak,
with a voice as calm as still water-
was Dandrade.
He didn't want Kumaca to remain backward
and never have a "Harvard"

Dardain, who had his hidden agenda,
agreed as well.

So, it was decided,
that Paulaine was to go see the Priest in Zanilla;
he'd ask for advice,
from the follower of Christ.

Well... opinions on schools really :b.

Shall I chat about my weird as hell classmates? I'm guilty as accused of being odd as well, but still...
Anywho, the majority of my class has no appreciation of real games, and spend their lives on CoD swearing when they get killed or playing doodle jump and Angry Birds (which are, admittedly fun for a while). There's also 27 different personalities in the class, one each! Consider the fact a 10 year old heavy metal fan who reads yaoi and a 11 year old girl who reads her mums gossip magazines, listens to pop and dance are best friends in this class :b. See what I mean? We're also all tiny or huge. I'm short and can only grow hair on my head, my friend Jake is tiny, and Balanna even more so. Then there's Declan who's already hair all over the place and is about 4 1/2 feet tall. Somebody called Lewis (who, albeit I'm friends with) has tin cans in his pockets and wears glasses with mirrors in case a gangster tries to kill him (who is also either a pervert or attracted to me as he strokes me, hugs me and go's on about my (sexy) eyes and (amazing) hair all day). Then there's looks themselves. One kid is stunting his growth because he's developing a six pack, has short hair and is growing stubble. And then there's me, who's wiry, has long hair and a ridiculously clean face. Half the girls in my class have dyed their hair as a rainbow and now complain when boys call them lesbians.

Do you see why I complain about my school being odd?

Now, spill the gossip on your school, oh yes, I forgot, one of the guys in my class has kissed 5 different girls on the lips, who IS a pervert.

Ugh. Why do 10 year old's play CoD? When I was 10, all I played was Pokemon, Mario, and Yu-Gi-Oh. What happened to the good old days? :/

Man, sad that a teacher like that had to die. Good teachers that you get along with is like finding a needle in a hay-stack... (Depending on where you are and what kind of school you go.)

I made this music for my intro to music technology class. I composed this in Sonar Home Studio, which is a really great program! I think I'm liking it better than Fl Studio. Anyways, here is the music.



I was trying to make a sappy modern romantic piano music, but it came out more holidayish instead. lol This is my attempt at trying to sound more "modern" like pop music.

I Don't know why, but this sounds like an ending theme played at the end of an RPG. It sounds like the camera is checking in on each of the characters. Maybe it's just my weird senses
