Uhhh, actually, you can easily tell if you're getting a call. The light blinks constantly without stopping. Did you try Wii U chat yet? Because I've tried it several times and I've noticed the light blinking for a while.

Next time get a warranty and be more cautious with your stuff. You can't really fault anyone but yourself for it breaking. As I recall, any damage done to anything after it's in your hands is at your expense. Everyone should know this by now.

Yeah, Gamestop doesn't really care about its customers. They had Wii U's yesterday on hold for people on the waiting list, but I went there and picked up a Deluxe without being on the list. The guy basically said "first come, first serve." I'd be upset if I had reserved something only to find out that someone walked in and took it. But oh well, I had that chance and took it.
