I think there should be a section for Wii U software. This would be great for topics revolving around Miiverse, eShop, Internet Browser, Nintendo TVii, Wii U Chat, Mii Maker, NETFLIX, etc.

No problem dude, here are a list of problems so far:
Won't connect to internet
Won't read discs
GamePad Won't connect to Wii U
GamePad burns the image of the last played game to the screen (seems very rare at the moment)
Thankfuly a lot of these cases are very isolated at the moment noone knows how big this problem so far, so play well and keep safe
>.< Would suck to have any of these issues happen. Will definitely post any issues I come across. So far so good.

Welcome to the forums, whatever you do don't turn it off while it's updating it will brick the Wii U, it's happend to quite a few people so far.
Thanks for the heads up. That must be the reason they emphasize setting up your system with the gamepad plugged in or wait until its fully charged. I opted for waiting until it got fully charged
