yeah nothing wrong with getting quality software. People seem to forget nintendo went on record MULTIPLE time stating this was gonna be a more CORE console. i do understand its only been out for four months but they dont seem to be proactive. like i said im giving them until E3 to give us some surprises and show all the core talk wasnt just BS. seriously i do believe its time for changes at the top withing the company. they need a new face someone who can push the company forward.

i don't care about graphics, the Wii U offers a new way to play games... am satisfied

I hate the way people keep complaining about the graphics of the Wii U, in the past 17 or so year when has ANYONE gone "ooh I should get that nintendo console for its graphics" NO ONE, so why is it such a giant deal now??? We go to Nintendo for their games. So STAP!

I have to disagree with you on that one... a lot of gamecube owners brought it because of the graphics it displayed. hell one of the best looking titles that gen was built from the ground up on gamecube (resident evil 4).

mario kart probably easily fits the bill. the last installment on wii is like what 30 million sold or something. mario kart is gonna sell a LOT of Wii U consoles.

i take this as... we are gonna announce a new sonic game for Wii U at E3.

i say that i jst hate that there is no hype around this amazing system that im enjoying so much. everyone is saying either... oh we have a fantastic lineup coming or the other end of the spectrum people have new game engines not even running on the Wii U. pair all this with nintendos silence and it just kills me

Bro calm down... Doom and Gloom is getting on your nerves... It can run UE4, they just won't port it themselves.

man we already have a thread about 9 pages long on this. yesterday i was furious now my GAF(give a fork) meter is empty. the reality sad as it is is when you buy a nintendo home console you are gonna be in for a rough 3rd party ride. Wii U is gonna get more support than Wii did... so i guess thats a win???

also crazy i talked to mark rein on twitter asking if Wii U would be able to run the samartian demo(unreal 3.9).... he denied that unreal 3.9 even exist. he basically said its only unreal 3 and unreal 4. so i asked him what was the purpose of the samaritan demo which i never got a reply back from him which is not surprising.

my hope is optimized to use half a gig so that other half can be devoted to devs for games... and customization. if i have to look at that OS for 6 years im gonna be upset... let the gamer customize their background.

i really think people are gonna be surprised when they see the in game graphics for this title. i really do believe this will be one of the Wii U's first graphical showcases

Exactly! I know this is a pro Nintendo site but Nintendo can do better and we as their customers handing them over our hard earn mney should expect them to and hold EM to a higher standard all around. It's not fair to just make excuses and put all the blame on 3rd parties because Nintendo wants to do things their way and not have a middle ground.

If you go by Metacritic, Grand theft auto IV is the best game ever, which is complete hogwash, and has a user score of 7.6, more like it.
 
Most publications list Super Mario Brothers as the greatest game of all time, and it would be hard to argue, it was fresh, it was fun.  Uncharted series was another third person shooter with a climbing mechanic.  The only thing that made that game more entertaining than replaying tomb raider from 10 year earlier was the storytelling and the visuals.  The game itself was linear, and was supposed to be an "action/adventure" game when there was no adventure because you were told where to go the entire game.
That's understandable.  But honestly, and Nintendo knows this better than anyone else, its all about the games, and Nintendo WILL deliver their games, we can all rest assured.  3rd parties other than Ubisoft, who have been great recently, may or may not support the Wii U, but what it comes down to is will there be fun and exciting games that will come to the Wii U?  Yes.
 
For that reason and armed with the knowledge that Nintendo still make the best games on the planet, I will be more than satisfied with my purchase.  The hardware is there, so if developers are willing to put their games on the Wii U so much the better.

That's a problem though. How hard is it for Nintendo to invite 3rd parties to a location and say look at this. It looks good right the best way to get graphics out the Wii u is to do this. It just seems like there is no communication between Nintendo and 3rd parties. I'm a Nintendo fan but let's not put all the blame on 3rd parties like Nintendo can do no wrong.

Well it was said the Wii U version was already up and running... Also said ps360 versions were not even in development yet which mean this time around they might be getting the real inferior port. Take a look at these links.

I hope this new CEO green lights the crysis3 that was running on Wii U and according to developers pretty much finished and ready to be shipped.

good job posting this. i saw it a couple days ago. a lot of people dont like him but he is totally right on this one. People forget how crappy the PS3 launch was. now look at what it has given its fans and has sold over 70 million consoles.
