one thing i do not think anyone picked up on yet. Miyamoto said earlier he saw apples in that area before and he said yeah you can eat them also. more importantly i think we may have a change of seasons mechanic in this game a REAL living breathing world.

I said it for a long time Nintendo just is not good at hyping. they could have released a gameplay trailer call it a day and people would have went nuts. Either way I am cool with what I am seeing.

I think smash 3ds deserves more credit. It is stunning to me. Smash on the go. It is almost perfect to me.

I personally am not a fan of what digital foundry does but that's not what bugs me. When it comes to nintendo games their wording gets real suspect. They make it seem like the worst piece of crap hardware. Why not call out ubisoft as a crap developer and say the console deserves better. I highly doubt much work was done to polish this game in those 6 months. With that said I am enjoying the game. It plays well enough for me.

My first FPS game was ...
Goldeneye 007 on the N64.
I wasn't really good at it and I spent more time watching my brother playing it than actually playing it.
Lookadem graphics.
I'd say my favorite FPS game would have to be...
Halo 2 on the Xbox
It was also my first Xbox/Xbox Live game, aside from that Xbox Live demo disk with the MechAssault online demo.
I spent countless hours playing online and learning about glitches via word-of-mouth from the Xbox Live community. I got really good at the game as well, so people were surprised that a high-pitched squeaky little Daisy was wrecking them.
The best maps IMO in Halo 2 were either Zanzibar or Foundation. There was a superjump glitch in Foundation that allowed you to walk around at the top of the map.
Dis map doe.
yep goldeneye! still my favorite.

I find it sad how a lot of people are comparing this game to the monstrosity that is sonic '06...
How so?
because it is NOWHERE near that bad.

After playing through a couple of hours here are m impressions. The game is NOT AS BAD AS SONIC 2006. I know people on neogaf and some on the internet is trying to make this the case. The game is different than your normal sonic game it is set in a bigger world where there is exploration and combat.I personally do not think it is that bad. Knowing what we know now about the mass exodus of staff I can see why there are bugs and a lack of quality and polish. I think Sega or Nintendo (since this is exclusive to their console) should have stepped up and made the decision to delayed the game. I am not sure if BRB was hidding all of the problems they were having. but someone should have seen this and made the proper decision to get this game back on track. I will play through and complete the full game. It is playable it is just rough around the edges. some decision just seem so weird. Why not use the sonic lost world engine that already produced a 720p 60fps game? I see nothing in game that suggest cryengine was necessary and how much did they spend to license that engine? also they have alll these areas in the game for collecting coins yet they do nothing. The game does make decent usage of the gamepad and miiverse. This game needed about 6 more months of sever polish and fine tuning.

Saw this on gaf... apparently the Wii U version also carries over the multiplayer mode that the x1 and ps4 version had, but the ps360 didn't. Dropped from 8 to 4 players though. So invasions, hacking and co-op are on Wii U version for multiplayer... and Voicechat via the Gamepad mic is supported
yeah, i don't hate the game. but seems rushed. hoping for a decent patch and maybe some free DLC too.
Yeah I asked them on twitter if there were any plans for a patch or update of some sort... no reply. I think the worse thing (if reports are true) is that they had that mass exodus of staff and it crippled the game. so I think the studio itself is in trouble. somehow this game (Sega) should have been delayed, put on hold or something. Wii U deserves better.

Safe to say this game runs better than Sonic Boom? Apart from bugs, glitches... the actual stable frame rate, no heavy stutter... lol
yeah I cracked sonic boom open just morning. didnt play too much but so far it is the dialogue that is just terribly bad and funny at the same time.

Hmmm odd. check this... brielfy as game boots... says "installing game data on system memory" it's a minute and 2 seconds in. Don't recall seeing this before on any game, at least not a message saying so.
more footage of wii u version.
I will be downloading on Friday so we can hit up that multi.

Yeah, a pretty big one. Many placeholders have been replaced, near lod models for many assets have been added, many more assets period have been created, and the lod system has really been ironed out, functioning at proper distance sets instead of the randomness of the earlier build. A few bad pairings (a mid model rock is replaced by a near model rock, of blatantly different size and shape for example, but by and large a vast, vast improvement.
Still a lot of noticable work to do, heading into the final phase (mob collision detection, more near lod's like certain car and civilian models etc), but the fruits of monoliths hiring spree is already very apparent.
Looks like well finally get the uncompromised gears/saga game and story package neither squeenix nor namco ever let them make. And it will be amazing.
We are a family good to see you back.
