Let me guess, based on e3 you two thought it was a 3dland port (because of the name).

 

No, I knew it was a new game. But from the E3 demo I played at Best Buy and the trailers, it didn't look like it was changing things up much. As the only new things I can remember from the E3 stuff were the dragon boss (unlike 3D Land where every boss was Boom Boom/Pom Pom and Bowser), cat suit, and that level showing . Today's trailer showed off significant additions and changes to the formula. With the new power ups, plot (not that big of a change. With Bowser still being the main villain and kidnapping people. But at least they changed it and the setting) level themes, enemies and bosses.

Of course they will, they never actually pay attention to Mario games in the first place, their whole "opinion" is that it's the same because it's got the same charater in it.

Completely turned my opinion round.

Didn't like the first trailer that much and was debating on whether or not to get it.

After this trailer hot damn pre ordering tomorrow, it's looks fantastic.

I dont get you guys. Wind waker was my favorite zelda game but this remake isn't worth 60$. They just turned up the bloom and tweaked a few things but why is it full priced? It would have been worth it if they released all the cut content since wind waker was rushed near the end. and the sailing would be fine if they world actually had stuff in it instead of empty islands and the occasional squid and shark. Also why would they remake a timeless game? Hardly counts as a remake if you ask me sounds more like a cash grab since not much effort was done to this.


Or they could say this is just remastered.

1: This game is $50, the same as it originally launched at and $10 less than the average Wii U game.
2: The unused dungeons have been implemented into Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.
3: A lot of HD collections are just the original game at 720p at a higher framerate. The only ones that I can think of that was better than this was Halo Anniversary and Ocarina 3D.
4: You would find lookout towers with pirates, pirate ships, submarines, hidden treasure, giant octorocks, and challenge islands mandatory for the Triforce Quest.
5: They remade it so more people can get the chance to experince it. They re-released Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, A Link to the Past, Zelda 1 and 2 on Wii Virtual Console, as well as remade Ocarina of Time on 3DS, put Zelda 1 and 2, Link's Awakening, and the Oracle games were put on the 3DS Virtual Console, and Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword are readily available Wii games. Wind Waker is the least readily available game in the Zelda series, so they wanted more people to play what is considered by many to be the best game in the Zelda series, if not of all time.

Since when does giving a ten mean the game is perfect because it doesn't. A game doesn't need to be perfect to get a ten.

I despise Gamespot with a passion but who actually finds their reviews any use anyway. Their opinions are unjustified and reek of negativity towards Nintendo, everyone knows this.

But HD gets a 8.0 because it's worse? Somewhere between early Gamecube and now they have become bias pigs.  How can a game with much prettier graphics, new features, GamePad usefulness and a harder difficulty of one of the best games ever made get a unjustified lower score?

Chat was too hard to moderate as Mourn has stated again, again, and again. Yeah, chat was awesome in the way you can get to know awesome people with common interests, but some people seem to think they can defy the rules and create drama. These kind of people ruined the chat, and that's the reason it's not here today. It's a clear and valid reason, I just don't understand why no one understands.

 

I want chat back just as much as the next guy, but I know that it was bad for the community and caused too many problems to stay.

My main issue is that Mournblade and her lack of trust in her staff, he doesn't want to promote anyone else to Super Mod. Chaotix is a moderator for a joke forum, Routerbad died probably, and nobody cares about the effort 3Dude puts in his post, yet he doesn't get promoted?

There is no trust problem, I created the section mod idea because I didn't want 5 or more super mods, which wouldn't be needed (when Andy and Josh were still mods).

I am still figuring out my schedule for college and am getting less and less freetime, that is, if I want to pursue programming and computer science.  The reason there isn't a new mod is because I have been lazy and haven't opened discussions with the others on the subject yet.

I want to have a mod for the RP/Games section so it doesn't fall apart again.  I have already talked with Chaotix about his position as he will be stepping down as a mod for reasons.

As for Routerbad, I haven't contacted him, but he isn't here due to personal reasons, some members are already aware of (a few of which who contacted me about it).

As for 3Dude, I have a good amount of respect for him and he has done great so far.  I haven't yet talked to him about the option of super mod yet, but he isn't underappreciated.

 

You spend time criticizing members here and talk quite a bit about how you'd be able to change things, yet you were one of the causes for a degeneration in the community for quite some time if I remember correctly.

Why would they get rid of the Wifi one? Of the 5 people who own a Vita, do any of them even own the 3G one? How silly. The 3G one is what needs to be discontinued. I didn't realize they still sold those!
