DK won't sell well, it'll sell around 3 million at most.

Wii Fit U will completely bomb.

Wii Party U will absolutely without a doubt bomb a thousand times over, unless packaged with a second upad which it will not be.

The rest I mostly agree to.

 

That moment when selling 3 million copies at around $60 a piece is not selling well

Ouch! Low Blow.

Nintendo will shut this down so quick the people behind the project won't know what hit them. 

 

It's just going to be that Final Fantasy 7 fan film all over again. I'm not entirely sure why people feel that they'll get away with using I.P.s that don't belong to them, but I guess it's going to happen over and over again. :/

...What?  Why in the hell would you do this?  I'm fine with banning smoking in certain places, but why ban something that is used to help people get over their addiction?

My dad had to go back to smoking just so he could quit drinking at one point (which he was able to stop again).  Maybe he didn't use e-cigs, he used patches, but still...  Smoking is not some easy thing that you can just quit and never go back to.

 

And before anyone starts pointing fingers at the sides of politics, this is not an issue of that.  This is an issue of stupidity in the entire system.

Hunter: I like that theory that we are all living inside a superior being's game. He controls everything we do and occasionaly throws stuff at us like a tornado or a hurricane to see how we handle it. And this is all for his entertainment. So when you die, nothing happens because you don't really exist anyway.

Sooooo The Sims?

Not a good idea... we had an Atheism thread once, that didn't turn out well at all.

As an experiment, I'd have copied Sony's specsheet, and released it at the same price Sony are planning to.
Then I'd have waited for the exact same things that are happening now to happen.
Third party not wanting to develop for it because it's too hard, people expecting all of nintendo's big 15 games at launch, people thinking it's just a wii with a gamepad, etc.

If it's just 1 thing I could change it would be making sure people knew it's a new console.
At e3 this would be difficult, I'd have to say the word "new console" every 10 minutes or people would forget the previous announcements saying it is indeed a new console, the press releases stating such, the games, the logical assumptions that the wii can't do wii u games, etc.

Nintendo have said the same thing before and announced games like NSLU and Pokemon X/Y.
I think we should never take them at their word, but also don't expect them to do something amazing.

Uuuuuuugh more announcements about games that should have been on release. Nice move Nintendo.
