Well they not only ignored the gamepad, they ignored the hardware. And advertising. And pretty much any attempt to make this game a success in any form.
It's also $100 in Australia, more than Smash Bros. and Mario Kart and Bayonetta and every game ever that is better than it.

I am 6'2" and the GamePad is like the perfect size for my hands. A PS3 remote feels too small, 360 remote feels alright.

Yes, it looking so real is one of the reasons it's creepy. Uncanny valley and whatnot.

When I was younger I would always ask for gift cards if i knew the person who wanted to get me a gift had no clue. lol.
Or if they're one of those people you know won't spend more than $20. It's usually just better to get the $20 than some gift that you'll probably only use once.

Yes. There are no frame drops, even check the Digital Foundry thing. It only ever drops to 58 briefly.
The camera mode, though, that has some weird frame rate issues.
