This mostly occurs to anime fans that they hate English dub by default just cause the JP voice actors do a 'Better job' or 'sound better' I don't believe this at all, English dub has improved tremendously after the 90s hiring professional voice actors that can actually act like they are the characters instead of reading line by line. With them i can focus on the animation instead of subtitles.

 

Now all of a sudden i see them complaining about English Dub in videogames in this generation......Yeah. Stupid to believe but its true.

All this video does is convince me even more that Minecraft DOES go with the Wii U, I swear the developer's missing out if they don't do this, what do you guys think? With the recent expiration of the IP chat service, Feld0 and I have reached a decision on the fate of the chat.  I'm sorry to say, but we have decided to discontinue the chat.

 

Let me make it clear why we chose to do so, the chat was not helping the forum community and has slowly devolved over time.  Despite what the chat used to be in the past, it became a place to spam, questionable content, and a hotbed of drama (with various issues that leaked onto the forums themselves).  There was no one member that did this, it is the nature of a real time chat.  In a real time chat, users are less likely to act decent towards other users, whether it be because of the moderation difficulties or because they simply cannot control themselves.  There were no other real options possible to "save" the chat, the chat itself was incredibly difficult to moderate, even with administrative permissions.

 

The purpose and goal of this site is to be a great forum and community for discussing the WiiU and Nintendo, but unfortunately the chat has put a tremendous strain on the community.  Without the chat, we can focus more on strengthening the community and making it the best we can.

Yeah, people were probably upset about the lack of checkpoints/lives before; now, people will try to bring that back.

IMO there should be an option for hardcore, survival players. That should entertain them long enough until they wish they had their unlimited deaths back x)

Lets make this easier, Mario fans or Sonic fans? What's easier to deal with.

You know that's not a fair fight.  Any sane fan of gaming knows how awful a lot of the sonic fandom is (unfortunately, I consider myself a part of that fandom...).

You have fans of every type for mario and few crazy ones.  Then you have sonic fans, oh boy...

There are many types of Sonic fans:

• Regular fans:

The casuals: A causal fan who likes the series as a whole.

The hardcore fans: These fans are in love with the series despite it flaws and can range from healthy fandom to absolute obsession.

The regular RPers:  These fans are likely interested in RPing as a whole or the sonic universe.  They think it may be cool to create a character and screw around in that universe, typically not stepping over bounds.

The comic fans:  I don't know why these guys like the comics, but they like the comics.  They are sane like any other normal comic fan or nerd.

The normal furries:  These guys take their love to sonic to the next level, but are still understanding of others and know social norms.

 

• Crazies:

The Fanboys:  These fans are past the point of obsession.  They live, breathe, and drink all that is sonic.  Sonic has become their god and his pals have become his pillars of glory.

The classic gamers:  These guys only enjoy the old 2D games.  Sonic for them died after S3&K (in some cases, sonic 2 or Sonic CD).  No matter how good a new Sonic game can be, it will never be good to them, they are blinded by their hatred of all things 3D.  Their main issues are that sonic isn't fat anymore, has green eyes, has longer spines, and isn't in 2D.

The Mobians:  These fans take the Sonic comics as the gospel of sonic.  Everything in the comics is canon and infinitely superior to the games in every way.  Their gods include (but are not limited to) Edgy Super Sonic, a variety of CaptainPlanetSuperSonics, Arnie tails, Greenie the Enchilada, and Devil Sonic.

The Neo gamers:  These fans prefer the 3D games over the 2D, most notably Sonic 06 and Shadow the Hedgehog.  They flock to new sonic games like fleas to a cat and will defend it no matter what.  This is typically just a stage before they turn regular or to the dark side.

The recolors:  Every fandom has them.

The crazy RPers:  This is where fanboyism meshes with art and other dangerous elements.  Sometimes the RPers will pretend to be sonic&pals, but the majority use their skills to create awful "Original characters".  They pretend to be sonic's brother/sister, Sonic's lover, Sonic's son/daughter, evil sonic, super sonic, super sayian sonic, goku sonic, (insert anime character here) sonic, the new god of the sonicverse, a demon of the sonicverse, anything related to Edgy the Hedgehog Emo the Hedgehog Shadow the Hedgehog, Tails/Knuckles/Amy/etc's brother/sister/lover/etc, or TinyArms McGee.

The "normal" furries:  These guys have lost most of their understanding of social norms.  They can still at times be reasoned with, but typically not.

The hardcore furries:  These guys are pretty creepy and make quite a bit of nasty stuff.

The batcrap insane furries:  Do I really need to explain?

 

• ??? or the hell of the fandom

 The Dark Ones:  Please, I beg of you, don't try to find them.  If your mind isn't strong you will be torn apart by the darkest creations of mankind.  They are really this bad.  The category will not include subcategories, even these depths would make Cthulhu shed a tear.  Sonic is dead to me, just remembering what I've seen...

I don't know of any other similar game off the top of my head, but I must say, AWESOME Little Shop of Horrors sig!  Feed me Seymour!

You forgot Mario Kart! Oh, I guess F Zero would work... I'd like Mario Kart better, though.
