In before you sell your games for microsoft points which can only be spent on the xbox online store. so basically you're not getting money back, but points back to buy cheaper games.

So basically microsoft wants to become Apple, Comcast, and now gamestop

You see what these stupid old polititcians never seem to realise is THERE'S A F$#KING RATING ON THE BOX!!!!!!!! Once the parent buys the game it's thier responsibility, but nooooooooo that's way too much to ask that is.

Here's my two cents

OMG! JUST SAW THIS ON TUMBLR!! IT WAS LEAKED AND IS GOING TO BE SHOWN OFF TOMORROW AT THE 3DS EVENT!!!

Oh, so with that, a tax on rated R movies is fair too, right?

It won't happen, the meaning of violence will be debated and etc.  I'm not surprised this would come up, though.  It always seems both sides of the political spectrum have something against games.

So just for fun, what Predictions are you making for Nintendo's Megaton announcement(s).

They can be actually what you want to see (let us know which ones) or just absolutely silly like a couple of these.

1) Miyamoto arrives with Iwata's head on a pike, as he and Reggie do a tribal dance around Iwata's corpse, this not only marks a new leader of Nintendo but also introduces a brand new horror themed first person game. 

2) Iwata appears next to Mario Luigi, Sonic and Tails announcing that after all current and cross generation games currently in production Nintendo will be absorbing Sega's publishing. Some of Sega's publishing team will be working on Nintendo games and some of Nintendo's publishing team will be working on Sega games as a cross fertilisation plan. Sega and the Sega brand will remain a development company, but a first party development company. Again some Sega development staff will be allowed to work on Nintendo games and some key Nintendo staff will be working on Sega games in order to cross generate ideas into each-other's IPs. (PS: Something I'd actually like to see) As a parody note Mario, Luigi, Sonic  and Tails all act Iwata's words through interpretive mime!

3) Iwata announces a partnership with Google to bring the Google Play store to the Wii U. Selected apps compatible with the system such as Angry Birds, Plants vs Zombies, and Draw Something will be available at launch. Google will be providing its chromium source code to improve the web browsing experience with the inclusion of Flash support. Google in turn will provide an app to allow people to play games that allow "Off TV mode" to play on the Android operating system along with designing an official Android based Miiverse App. (what I wouldn't mind seeing - based on rumors)

4) Nintendo recreates the Unreal 4 elemental demo using Nintendo characters using different art styles including Photorealistic (at the beginning) as a short sharp f-you to Epic Games.   (actually I'd like to see this too, it'd be hilarious)

5) Reggie comes on stage naked, oiled up and says to camera "My body is ready, is yours?" before the Nintendo Direct introduction video starts.

6) An hour long Nintendo direct with Reggie recreating the torture scene of reservoir dogs with the CEO of EA tied to the chair....

3DS version is far superior.
