Yeah when do they start bringing N64 games to the eShop, anyways? I've been waiting but I hear nothing.

But Sony didn't to bring people in with Killzone because the dudebros were already there. It's a different situation. It's not gonna be like nintendo makes aweseom shooter and suddenly all the dudebros are all "I totally respect nintendo now, and am going to buy a wii u to play this game." because in case you haven't noticed, most dudebros
are
complete
idiots.
They're too busy trying to impress their friends with manly they are by buying COD and how their 13 year old dicks have totally grown half a millimeter. They already have their notions about Nintendo, and trying to get them to come to Nintendo is a waste of their money, especially since last gen they had a system the dudebros hated, but still had the best console sales.
I have to agree. I think Nintendo would have better luck marketing the Wii U as a way to get laid.

In NSMBU and NSLU multiplayer mode only uses the gamepad as an environment manipulator, not as a playable character.

With the 3DS you can play the entire DS backlog, so games like Zelda Spirit tracks or Bowser's Inside Story.
With the Wii U you can play all Wii games, plus the Wii U VC (and the Wii mode's VC) has a lot of the classics from the NES to N64.
Honestly? I recommend getting both. I'd problably say go 3DS first because there's a lot of awesome 3DS games out already. And it's cheaper; less than half the price if you're happy with a 2DS.

If Nintendo ever did go out of the console business and even ceased their handheld line, I'd want them to go mobile. If, for no other reason, to give a gigantic finger to the 'core' gamers who want to see them, not fail completely, but just pull a sega and put their games on their 'hardcore' systems.
Honestly? I think Nintendo may outlive the Xbox and PlayStation. They're fairly conservative with their finances, and can survive a failed console. The Wii U has not failed. It is not doing as great as the 3DS or Wii ATM, but it has not failed. Nintendo has had home-runs with the Wii, DS, and 3DS; so they have time to decide on what to do next.
That being said, in the unlikely case that Nintendo ever really decided that they can't do consoles anymore; they'd probably partner with Sony. Sony is also based in Japan, so it would be a bit easier for them to communicate. Nintendo would still have enough clout that they could possibly influence PlayStation and Vita design, and get preferential treatment. Nintendo is also practically anal about quality, which would make it impossible to develop for mobiles with varying specifications and capabilities. Nintendo most likely not even do computer gaming, again due to the varying capabilities. They have always programmed based on the maximum capabilities of the device, and have no experience writing code that can scale forwards and backwards. Xbox might be a consideration, but there's no portable device (Surface doesn't count because that's still essentially PC gaming). that just leaves Sony with one portable and one console.

So do you guys think this is better than Mario Galaxy 2? this is a supposed next generation console and this game isn't a patch on Galaxy in either ambition or realisation. It's a high fidelity version of a 3DS game, maybe you guys think that is good enough but I expected better.
I am sure Nintendo have some real next-gen titles lined up - I refuse to believe that such a hugely talented and respected software house is not trying to push the game design envelope in some form or another.
So... You want Nintendo to jump the shark? There's a lot of good ideas in SM3DW, and I'm really enjoying it.
