Shame that it got delayed, as I was looking forward to it. But at least it saves me $50 this year (too many games, such little money), and fills up any possible post Holiday game drought.

Lots of things can cause these problems.
I know if i have to many games i dont tend to play them all to there fullness.
I remember when i was getting games every week, which lead me to not playing them all because i would get use to one and not the good at the other any more.
once i started spacing out when i got another game it was better and i was able to play the game to its fullness.
Also some games just arent what they use to be,

After playing a bit of Xbox (games like BF/COD) I usually feel very frustrated and 'empty' somehow. But a game like Luigi's Mansion 2 makes me happy instead... so maybe it depends on what you're playing too

I don't know about you guys, but I seem to find PC and Handhelds so much easier to pick up and play in comparison with consoles (which I can only play about an hour and 30 minutes until I feel like my session is a chore)

What I like about the Wii U:
The fact that Nintendo is making similar games to those on the 3DS; the games available on the 3DS are some of my favourite games, does it matter if Nintendo are trying to replicate the quality and success of their 3DS games in bigger and better sequels for the Wii U?
The fact that there are other games; Pikmin 3, Game and Wario, Nintendo Land and Wonderful 101 are truly unique (I know Pikmin is the third game in the series).
Miiverse is fantastic, and Nintendo still choose to update and improve it over time.
It has games that I could never play on the Wii such as Batman and Assassin's Creed.
The gamepad is genius, playing games like Nintendo Land, Lego City, Batman, Zombi U, Rayman Legends or actually just anything else is fantastic.
I like simplified internet, all I wanna do online is just that. Go online, all the extras are extras. I have never had a problem going online.
The account system actually works (I'm not even bothered about unified accounts as the 3DS and Wii U are different machines with different things going for them).
Finally, I have not played a bad game on the system.
All in all I am very, very pleased with my decision to purchase the Wii U and have never even come close to regretting it.

Now that I've played all the way through, there are parts that I do like and parts that I don't.
I don't necessarily agree with the opinion that people hate it because it's far from your common shooter. I think there are little bits here and there throughout the game that have this unnecessary irritant feel for what the game is.
I think the general consensus is to buy it at a cheap value if you can.

Responses in bold italics again. :B
Not releasing a handheld every 9 months, but at least slightly updating the specs or offering something new to the table to breathe more life into their handheld. Nintendo has billions of dollars in their bank, they can afford to do this. They can essentially make up for the loss with Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, DK, Kirby, Kid Icarus, Pikmin, Metroid, etc New IPs like Dillion, Art Academy, Sakura Samurai, etc) Compared to the 3DS, the 2DS is gigantic. In terms of width.

Is it just me or is everyone in complete denial?
Look at the day one releases for xbox one and ps4, im a nintendo guy all the way, and I know graphics arnt everything but come on, they look incredible.
If wiiu can easily keep up with games like that, why haven't they?
It will be a noticeable downgrade and id rather they didn't bother and just gave us original games made for wiiu.
I mean talk is cheap, go to you tube and watch some of these new games.
Who remembers when we were all hyped up as need for Speed most wanted on wii u had "pc textures" lol I just saw the new forza on xbox one being played, now I feel a bit silly ...
‘Wii U eDRAM usage is comparable to the eDRAM in the XBOX360, but on Wii U you have enough eDRAM to use it for 1080p rendering.
In comparison, on XBOX360 you usually had to render in sub 720p resolutions or in mutliple passes.
Even if you don’t use MSAA (MultiSample Anti-Aliasing) you already need around 16Mb just for a 1080p framebuffer (with double buffering). You simply don’t have that with XBOX360 eDRAM. As far as I know Microsoft corrected that issue and put also 32MB of Fast Ram into their new console.

probably depends on how hard the dev is trying because look at skyrim on ps3 it sucks but if they really tried it would probably have little change really unless it was probably something really intense like something specifically made for the console like the engine was specifically made for ps4/xbox one

If I had a penny for the times Gamejunkie has said the word "experience" and other PR mumbo jumbo, I'd be rich.
Anyway, now is definitely the time to buy a Wii U. Forget about the other consoles. Most of their launch games will be found on current gen consoles and they'll no doubt have the same droughts virtually all consoles experience after launch.

I didn't really expect one. I mean if all consoles gave an ambassador Program when they do a price drop, I would have 100 free games.

Bad idea. Platinum are terrible. Couldn't even sell over 5k w101 in Japan.

Yeah, ok I've been playing this game for a few hours now annnnddd..... what was that ign reviewer thinking?
I'm sorry I know opinions and all that but this game imo is an almost perfect action game.
Controls? No problem
Story & characters? Interesting and funny
Gameplay? Exhilarating, pure fun, very solid and has a deep combo system.
Also how does the game not explain itself?
Have you not heard of the electronic manual?
Btw watch this video if you want to see how to properly play this game and why ign's review did it no justice at all
