#242202 Nintendo announces 2DS?

Posted by 3Dude on 28 August 2013 - 08:23 AM

So, it says nintendo 2ds on the box and title screen, but plays games that say 3ds on the box. THIS IS SO NOT GOING TO CONFUSE THE GENERAL CONSUMER POPULACE!!!

This is what you cry babies get for complaining about the 3D Effect.

"WAAAAH NINTENDO Y U MAKE IT 3D 3D SUX"

:Nintendo announces really, really cheap 3DS with no 3D effects:

"WAAAH NINTENDO Y U MAKE THIS ITS SO DUM"

I honestly can't stay mad at the design. It just reminds me of another model of GameBoy.

As disappointed as I was by watching the Direct on my iPhone at work, when I came home my kids(4,6) were actually watching the demo's via the eshop on Wiiu.... And they were absolutely thrilled.

'Dad, we just saw a game where we can battle with Mario and Donkey Kong' and 'also, a Mario Kart, but we don't need that because we have that Sonic whats it called racing game', where my son replied 'duh, but that one doesn't have MARIO'. 'But dad, please come watch, we saw a Mario game like on mom's 3ds and it's that same game but we can play together'. 'Yeah, and a game with adorable animals which you can take care of and there is a boy and girl version'.....(pokemon x/y).

.....well, at least they liked it and it seems that I know where my gaming budget will be spend on. Only thing I love more than gaming, is watching them play, learn and cooperate. Well Nintendo, good job. Maybe I was looking at this from a wrong point of view, and is it not you who went wrong, but did I outgrow you. At least the kids will have a safe gaming invironment to start learning the how games, internet and communication works.

#208476 Why didnt Nintendo just make wii u more powerful?

Posted by MatrixChicken on 18 May 2013 - 09:06 AM

*sigh* Where do people get this idea that the Wii U is underpowered? It's got some great looking games on it (Nintendo Land, Need for Speed, Resident Evil, etc.), and as we should all know by now, they will only get better. The Wii U is at the beginning of it's life. I know I'm just reiterating what tons of other people have already said regarding the Wii U's power, but please, don't don't listen to everything an EA employee says.

lol

As if this thread wasn't dumb enough already, you actually think not getting fifa is a big deal.

Your question has been answered millions of times already, and if you had bothered to use the search bar on this site you would have realised that before making this thread.

FYI power isn't what makes a console good.

They made it as powerful as they felt it needed to be to meet their expectations for the next 5-6 years.
