Maybe they should release variations on mobile devices- something like that Nintendoland Mario bros. deal on a tablet or cell phone might be cool- then maybe even a variation of an Angry birds......supposedly they are considering mobile, so maybe that's their plan.
I think the plan was to lure more indie devs who are in the mobile space to take a look at Wii U as the tablet (gamepad) and controls could offer some good potential for them and appearing on a Nintendo console is good for the ole resume

It's the Nintendo DoubleStandard™ rearing its ugly head again.
"Nintendo's majorly successful? GO THIRD PARTY, UR NOT BEING FAIR TO EVERYBODY ELSE WHO DOEESNT" WANT TO BUY A NITNENDO SYSTEM BUT YET WANTS TO PLAY THEIR GAEMS"

I'd bet it upscales a bit from the original cables that came with the Wii... Not sure about it being better after an update...
But yeah, the original RCA cables from the Wii are probably only 360p, while I'd guess the Wii U upscales to the max Wii resolution of 480p. I think it was possible to get 480p out of the Wii with optional component cables...
As far as looks go, I think some people think some games look worse on Wii U, but I think that's due to the pixels being crisp, thus the "jaggies" being much more noticeable. After playing on it for a while, though, it looks pretty good. ![]()

It looks somewhat ugly on my TV (32" 720p): the icons and text are readable, but the models are pixellated and the textures look a bit worse than they do in SD; because I have the screen zoomed out so I can see the full picture (I know they fixed the overscan issue, but it's never really been an issue for me), Wii games are letterboxed as well. Wii U graphics and games are simply beautiful, however.

What do you want to see in the next update, do you think it will be shown in the Nintendo Direct tomorrow?
tommorow? did i miss something?
Achievements from Nintendo 1st part games should come in the form of characters. For instance if it's a Mario game you are playing there is a Mario character to complete/build by completing challenges in the game. For each challenge completed (it gives you a piece) if you get all the pieces, then you are the proud owner of Mario a achievement/trophy .
Just a thought.
They could do it like the puzzle game on the 3DS or Find Mii, instead of getting coins from walking or pieces from spot pass, your achievements equal currency for games like that.
Or
better yet, achievements translate into club nintendo coins. Every x amount of points becomes x club coins. However, i feel club nintendo would need to offer more prizes on their site.

An achievement/trophy/accomplishment system similar to those on Xbox Live and Steam. Cross-game chat would also be really cool.

1. Support for 2-4 gamepads at a time
2. Youtube app
3. Ability to watch 3D movies
4. 3D glasses support for movies and games
5. 3D Graphics for Games, where video game characters pop out of the screen
They already have a Youtube App. And no need for 3D, that's what a 3DS is for.

Since the Spring update made it that you could download games and updates while the Wii U is off, wouldn't it be cool if they had the store online on your PC and when you bought stuff on it, it would download to your Wii U even if you aren't home and the Wii U is off? I think that would defiantly be "next gen" and will bring the eshop into full use. What do you think?
