I would like to see how many plastic supports they use for his amiibo.

Poor Sakurai. It would be fun to see Rayman I suppose.

Perhaps they could replace him with one of the know your friends characters.

#308765 Possible Twilight Princess 3DS (new grain of salt rumor)

Posted by Hank Hill on 12 February 2015 - 12:58 PM

The good thing about remakes is at least you know you're getting a pretty good game. They don't tend to remake bad games. And when it's a game you haven't played for a decade or so (like Majora's Mask), it's pretty much as good as a new game.

I also look at it like this. We're getting legitimate handheld versions of games that were previously tied to home consoles...and I think that's fantastic. Granted, I still think asking full price for a console to handheld port without adding much of anything new is a bit much, but it's still fantastic that we're getting them.

The news would coincide with this which we saw back in September. Xenoblade Chronicles, Twilight Princess, Mario Sunshine, Code Name Steam (enhanced). Just a note, the below image may not be all factual regarding specs and games.

If Nintendo wants to push the "new" 3ds aspect, I could see them doing another Zelda exclusive to it and adding in a Mario title too,

...if they actually released Twilight Princess and Super Mario Sunshine on the New3DS, I'd love it. Twilight Princess is one of my favorite Zelda games just in tone and dungeons, and Mario Sunshine writes itself.

As for people saying "too many remakes/re-releases"...well, you're not wrong. But the thing is, this is pretty much par for the course for Nintendo. The GBC got a few SNES/NES ports, GBA got even more SNES ports, DS/3DS got a few N64 remakes/ports, so it wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo moved to GameCube remakes/ports for the New3DS.

Need a Valentine's Day card for that special someone in your life? If they love games, Nintendo can help you out.
The company posted a selection of Nintendo-themed Valentine's Day cards to its website, which you can print, cut out, and give to your loved ones.

There are four sets of cards overall themed after different Nintendo franchises, with six cards in each. Theres a Super Mario set, a Kirby set, a The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker set, and a Yoshi set.

You can find them all on Nintendo's site, or simply grab them from the gallery above.
