I too came to the conclusion of 4870. It fits and it is advanced enough to run Cyrsis at 30fps and most other games at 60fps. A solid video card. It may be a customized 4870 however and a smaller one due to the advancement of manufacturing.

If you're like me, you buy consoles for exclusives and use your PC for third party games. Sure, there is the occasional game that doesn't come out for PC and or is better on a console (Sports games, Final Fantasy, Mortal Kombat, etc.)

So I was wondering, how many people here buy third party games for consoles and what is their ratio compared to first party and second party games?

Me personally, the only third party games I bought this year that weren't exclusive were Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2, Mass Effect trilogy, Assassins Creed games, Mortal Kombat, BioShock, and Darksiders. Most of those games I bought for PC. Only FF, MK, and sports games were bought for my 360/PS3.

Eb games Canada is not like the US stores. They have awesome deals with trade ins. They add extra credit if you trade towards a new console. By trading in my 360, two controllers and 5 games I only had to pay $72 for my vita (regular $277 with taxes included).

I'm a console gamer through and through. I'll game on a PC maybe 2wice a year at the most.
I'm not into the whole keyboard/mouse thing.

You can use the 360 controller or any gamepad really if you want. But I get your point.

I don't have the money to be constantly updating a PC, so I stick to consoles. As for if I buy a system only for 1st party, it depends on what you mean. I decide on which system to buy based on it's exclusive games, but I do buy 3rd party games for my consoles, due to the previously mentioned lack of a gaming PC.

Yeah it can get expensive. I just had to upgrade my GTX 295 that I bought XMAS 2009 with a GTX 570HD. $350

In terms of consoles, I buy them for exclusives.

I buy Nintendo consoles for Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pokemon, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Fire Emblem, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, JRPG's, etc.

I buy Sony consoles for Uncharted, God of War, Resistance, Heavy Rain, Twisted Metal, Final Fantasy, Mortal Kombat (no PC version

) and other JRPG's.

e3 is just around the corner and when nintendo shows the wii u it has to make gamers go WOW. the question is?

what game should nintendo show that will show what the wiiu can do?

Probably Pikmin 3. They thought the tablet and high resolution graphics would serve it better. Think of it....the art style, all the different colors of pikmins, the lush environments with plants and animals of all colors and shapes, the water effects, lighting during the day and night, etc. Show the audience that these things can't be done on the 360/PS3. We sure as hell know it isn't going to be a third party game or NSMBMii lol.

I mean here is the list of my friends and what they play.
Friend 1 played a lot of FIFA with me and some NHL. He doesn't have either anymore. He now plays Skyrim and CoD (I will never touch CoD)

Friend 2 is like friend 1.

Friend 3 and friend 1 got a 360 the same week I did and we used to play a lot together. But friend 3 bought a PS3 like me and traded in his 360 already so I won't be alone anymore.

Friend 4 is never online.

Friend 5 doesn't want any console right now, he sticks to PC.

I know friend 3 will get a Nintendo console with me.

So I don't use live anymore for multiplayer gaming, as a matter of fact I only use it for mass effect but if I h ave it for PC now I c an just make new shepards haha. The only real thing holding me back is the fact that I have live until September and don't want to see the money go to waste, but I am not using it right now and don't plan to

Hey guys I need some info here.

Basically I got a PS3, Wii, and PC now. Xbox exclusives are starting to bore me and I sold most of my games for the 360 (I kept NHL 12 and Mortal Kombat to play with friends, and kept mass effect 1 & 2) but I want to sell my 360 and use its trade credit towards a Wii U (with accessories and games and all I should get over $100). My problem is my good subscription lasts until September 23rd, 2012 so I don't want to sell my Xbox and still have 8 months of Live that I can use.

Will Microsoft prorate me for the months I don't use if I cancel now ($5 a month for 8 months is about $40)? If not then I guess I might as well keep the 360 until September and and than trade it in. I already canceled auto-renewal so I know I won't have live after September.

Alright, I want to do this two ways. One way, is to list and rank your favourite Nintendo consoles in order, and then do a second list including all consoles you have owned to see where they stack up. Forget handhelds, since the only legit compeittion for the Gameboy was the Gamegear and the DS had the PSP and we both know who won those battles.

We can do it like how baseball awards players. Tally up first place points and second place points, etc. to see the ultimate Nintendo console and ultimate console on these forums is (My guess is the GameCube).

5 points for a first place vote, 4 for second, 3 for third, 2 for fourth, 1 for fifth for the Nintendo Console List.
