Unless Denon is a setup option when you look for TV brands in the game pad setup or you know a TV manufacturer that uses the same coding as the Denon your out of luck. I'm not sure anyone knows if they will have support for receiver control in the future.

The club nintendo site says the ZombiU code is for digital download only. Several of the 3rd party titles are that way (digital download only). Which sucks.......

I'd give it a 9, Only reason for me its not a 10 is because of some of the bugs and glitches I'm sure will be fixed with software updates. As well as a lack of an achievement system and customization on the menu backgrounds, etc.....

I think this goes both ways.  I own a Wii U, Xbox 360 (2 of them) and a PS3.  To be honest they all have their pros and cons.

Xbox has hands down the best online community...why?  Its easy to jump on with your friends, play, chat, and there are always a ton of people online.  They have an advantage because they have built Live from the ground up to what it is today which took a lot of time and subscription $$.

PS3....well it plays my blu-rays.....other than that I consider it useless, it needs constant updates that take forever and I never really liked the PS controller feel but to each their own, it plays all the top games as seamless as the next console..

Wii U, The strong point for me (and sole reason I bought it) is that you can play on the gamepad only.....If i want to play black ops 2 while my wife watches TV or a movie I can and still sit there and chat with her and hang out (it is nice being able to control the TV with it also).

Now that is my simplistic view of the consoles I own and I don't see any reason to hate on any of them.  They are all really good at something and more than capable at everything else.

Yeah this forum isn't going to draw a huge people in (there aren't enough people on the forum to make a dent). But it will get better after Xmas. Most the parents buying these for their kids are for Xmas gifts so there is going to be a little wait for all those people to open up the consoles and jump online.

They update the xbox version consistently sometimes for server issues and online issues that may only address xbox live gameplay and not all online versions (i.e. PS3, WiiU)

I have played enough now I'm level 55 on my Xbox and Wii U versions. To be honest I've found the wii u version graphics to be more crisp and smooth. In fact I prefer playing on the wii u cause I can play on only the gamepad in the event my wife wants to watch a movie or tv. The only complaint I have is the lack of people online with the Wii u but I suspect after Xmas that will no longer be an issue.

Great that's what I was looking for. I have an expensive headset I just cant hear anything else going on in the room so I wanted to be able to use some basic in ear headphones with a mic so I can still hear whats going on sometimes.

It couldn't read MW2 disc. That happens more often, so I clean it and it just works. Now however, the goddamn disc.. what do you call it? The horsing discreader won't open. It's stuck. Nothing happens. I did nothing. It just won't open. What the hell is this carp man?!

I'm getting really annoyed by Microsoft. Everything breaks so quickly. This console is very unstable. Crappy discreaders, RROD, controllers break quickly, and now this. Problems such as these NEVER occured to me on a Nintendo console, and I don't hear stories about broken Playstations either. I'm really getting pissed off now. I only have 2 games on my HDD, of which one I still have to beat but I just wanna play freaking COD or RE again. I know I won't be buying an Xbox console anytime too for sure, there's too many problems to them.

I think I still have my waranty, but even then this carp will still take a long time. Do any of you know ways to fix this?

Nevermind, I have it solved. I just had to put it back horizontally instead of vertically...

Still, this is a stupid mistake from Micrsoft. We can use this thread to still rant about the console.

My 360 Just started doing this after the last software update. Might not be an actual hardware problem.

I will be getting my Wii U this evening but thought of something now that I can't find the answer for. Most everything I have seen says you have to use licensed headsets with the gamepad. Has anyone used regular stereo headphones and does it work fine? What about regular stereo headphones with a mic for black ops 2 or mass effect 3?

I paid an extra $20 to avoid the hassle of running around and got one locally off eBay and picked it up. They seem to be going for more than that now but not a bad deal.

Just a note, all of the local Walmart's show In Stock on their websites but it is because their systems can't distinguish available stock to fulfill the pre-orders and simply available on the shelf to sell. The same applies for the other big retailers.
