Today I recieved a package from the Hut, totally by surprise, it was the Majoras Mask Skull Kid figurine. I never ordered the game or the console, only the main Ambassador console. Surely a mistake by Nintendo? Anyone else?

Here it is in action. It's a beautiful thing.
Anyone who liked the Wii U version but thought the 3DS MH3U version was a bit on the small side (me) then this is a much better game for the use of the New 3DS.
I've not played the game on a 3DSXL but the New 3DS addresses a few issues that I had gripes with before.
Better 3D, the new nubbin, better sized console to hold and play for longer durations.
The game itself has online play at last. This is a must and was a real let down for the last game. It's a day one purchase for any 3DS owner.

This is quite sad, I've picked up some cool stuff over the years since the original VIP programme started. Best bits have been the Hanifuda cards and a MK Banana trophy.
Hope they do an eShop reward for the replacement that gives you a chance to buy actual games. That'd be good.

Best and most original looking shooter I've seen in yonks. I'm really looking forward to the online play for this one.

I've not used an XL before but compared to my standard 3DS this New version has a much better lay out and feel to it. I too used to cramp up in my old 3DS but have high hopes for this one.
MH3U will be tested by me to iffy to see if its that little bit more playable with the nubbin.

Here it is unpacked, I'm sure that you've all seen plenty of pics online already.
I haven't got time tonight to actually play it but it feels lovely in the hand. The new top buttons aren't in the place I thought they'd be either but sit just right.
Once the kids are in bed I might pop a game in and fire it up.

This action was announced 2 days ago, how did people already receive the package? I ordered it right away and, apart from the fact that the site mentioned a 'receive within 7 days line', I am wondering when it will actually arrive at my doorstep.
I'm still waiting for the dispatch email, I have had emails in the meantime explaining how to transfer data.
Was hoping to have it by the weekend but I supose I'll have to wait until next week :-(

Yes, it'll be interesting to see how good it is as a second stick. Has to be better than the current set up though.
Those face plates are priced at just over £7 each. That seems very cheap?

Love Football sims and with the competitive edge it sounds very addictive.
Don't forget that if you by it before the 1/5/14 you can get it for a reduced price of €11.99 instead of the RRP of €14.99 (or what ever that equates to in £/$)

Another thing I'd say is that it's quite surprising how quickly you can work through the HR levels with online help. People generally tend to be very prepared to grind through the lower stuff with you and also repeat some of the quests to farm stuff for better weapons/armour etc.
I've managed to almost get to HR6 with help from randoms online. And it's been very enjoyable indeed.
