I agree with him tho and for the most part Nintendo has handeled DLC how you are supposed to. PC games in the 90's did Expansion packs and expanded the games..sometimes was like getting a full new game. MK8 DLC is very much like that.

Most developers treat DLC like this.

Skells means Homeless. So it's really stupid sounding. I like Dolls but what they should have called it is Gears like in Xenogears. A fun nod as the game has so many Gears and Saga references.

DLC is great in idea but many developers treated it badly,some do it well like Dragon Age Origins Awakening. Look at Capcom. They locked DLC on the disc. The game you bought the DLC wa son the physical copy but you had to pay extra to get that content on the disc you already paid for. That was not the exception either. It happened a lot but Capcom did it the worst. Madden 2006 charged you for extra uniforms for teams,something that was always a given in the game to begin with. Thankfully since they dropped that but others do the same. 5-6 bucks for a chracter makes sense tho. A single character is a lot of work and that's just general how fighting games have worked since Street Fighter II. If you don't get that then you don't get how the fighting game scene works. If Mewtwo was on the disc at launch but paid to unlock now then yeah be total BS.

DLC/Expansion packs is meant to be getting more out of the game and expanding on it and that is a great thing. Problem is many times and become the rule not the exception that it's not expanding the game but paying for something that is kinda there already and even getting worse where look at Driveclub. That was a hot mess and took months before it was playable. Same with ACU or Halo MC on XBO ship it now patch it later. Some of these things are day 1 DLC for things that should have been fixed before shipping. DLC is a wonderful thing but often treated badly.

Yes let's go after MS for something everyone does. Let's totally ignore when Sony was using Xbox 360 footage on their demo booths in 2013 for games. Oh just ignore that green A button Sony says. Just got home from Japanese Festival. Drum cermonies and tea ceremonies. Many people in Kimonos and dressed as Anime characters and all sorts of stuff. Got a couple things myself.

You know CD projekt likely sent that that footage right? You know everyone does this since the 80's right? And no 360 versions not the same as a PS4 version,Sony batlanly lied but Sony is perfect right?. Also you get that all developers show off the best version of their game? You get that MS was only saying hey this game is also on Xbox right?

Oh you didn't then may I be the first to welcome you to gaming you must be new to this. 80's showed arcade versions of games on the back of NES boxes,Genesis boxes and so forth. This is like you just disovering developers and console makers been lying to you for over 30 years. So again how is MS singled out? They didn't capture the footage. oh hey look Nintendo showed off Aliens Col Marines as Wii U footage..wait what;s this it was pre rendered CGI? OH MY GOLLY! What's this Sony showed off Killzone CGI footage at E3 2006 and said it was in game! OH NOES! WHat's this that Star Wars Kinect demo was staged!? GIMINY WILLIKERS!

See MS it's not false advertising so yup you are clueless. It's just CD showing the game at it's best but MS just confirming the game is coming to XBO. They are not selling it as the XBO version. MS only crime is having a video they were given.
