I highly doubt the games will be $100. The WiiU wouln't sell at all.

Nintendo has confirmed retailers listing Wii U games around the $100 range "are using fictitious prices".

They just don't know the price of games yet but want to make sure people who do any preordering aren't told "oh and by the way we need you to hand us $20 more so you can buy this game" they would rather tell people. "oh by the way we overstated the price on that game and it's not actually that expensive so you can keep that $20" $100 is a little overkill, but that's the basic concept

As for gamestop, they should be thankful for wii U, as all this companies exist because of used games..

That was a great explanation :)

it's very funny for the price of assassin's creed 3 for $100, especially when they price other console versions at $50 lol.

A couple places are taking the 100 dollar preorders. I can't see how I could possible justify that in my budget and there is no clause in the preorder (that I can see) that mentions you'll get the remainder of the money back if it less than $100. I'd be scared to give Gamestop any extra money considering what they already do to people on trade-ins.

Watch this video to truly understand Gamestop.

Its a place holder, they dont wanna be too low on the price so they pick a price sooo high that they know they wont cost that much and they wont screw themselves over

The website that I've seen sells games for around 40 pound.

I'm pretty sure those are just placeholder prices. I'd be very surprised if GameStop, or any other retailer, actually sells Wii U games for $100.

Mostly likely the WiiU games might be $59.99, it would be great if the games was the same price of $49.99 lol.

No one knows the prices yet, all prices you see until Nintendo releases an official number are place holders for pre-orders. New Wii U games should remain around the price of new Wii games.

True, but as Game Delevopment costs go up, Retail Games will increase in Price. This goes for all 3 Companies Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.
