The game is also tied to the system, not the account Nintendo really needs to fix that mistake.
Indeed. Especially if Nintendo wants digital downloads to be a success.
Personally, I'm going physical with this game. The only retail game I've purchased digitally was Bit.Trip.Saga, and that was because it was relatively cheap.

Only must-download game for me would be Animal Crossing: New Leaf so that I can visit my town everyday without having to find the cartridge and all that.

With digital copies you always face the risk of your system being destroyed or lost.
With physical copies you always face the risk of your cartridge being destroyed or lost.
