Okay I think I have decided that I will build a custom made computer that I build myself but now I need the money. I am looking at about $1000 and I need a job that I can raise that money quickly.

yeah I think I need a new computer. My current GPU is a Intel R 945 Express and it isnt capable of playing anything really.

I think I found the computer I wanted! It is a Acer Dual core but it has 3.2 ghz and 8 GB RAM! And a 1TB hard drive! All they want for it is $398! Now I have to save up.

But I still think that you should build one yourself. My parts costed 1000 dollars and if you want a regular computer (like asus or Hp) then you have to pay something like 1800 dollars. So if you want bang for the buck build one. Trust me it's easy, it's like building lego. I builded mine in 4 hours.

Okay I am shopping for a new computer but I have no idea what to get. I want something that can play games and surf the web nicely and something that I can use for school work. My budget would be up to $600. Any suggestions?

this could get really OCD about the fact that 500 dollars seems like poor to someone but tonnes to a real poor person, but remember n1010203 was just exagerating a little, lets not read too much into it, move on, talk about the topic and not about whether or not he really is "poor." make sure u get an i5 processor, that would be easier to do with in budget if u build the pc urself

Make sure you buy a decent video card, since that is much more important to games than the processor!
