Cut the Rope is an amusing distraction on the iPhone. It’s well-made and is based around a simple, but clever concept. Semyon Voinov of Zepto Labs though has expressed interest in bringing the game to the Wii U. Here’s what he said:
We are looking into possibilities of porting “Cut the Rope” to other platforms besides iOS/Android, and Wii U platform is one of the options. However, I can’t say for sure will the game be ported to Wii U platform or not – this is something still to be decided by our team.
I’m not sure if I exactly support this. Cut the Rope is fun, like I said, but it feels very much like an iPhone game. Without reworking the formula, there’s not a ton of substance.
