Should I buy games at Eshop or Retail stores? Harddrive space isnt a problem because I will buy a good external harddrive and I do not mind the long download wait but I want to know if there are any pros and cons to doing this? I know a pro to buy the eshop version is that I can simply touch the app to play! What do you guys think?

Zero re-sale value on eshop purchases.

Potential savings of retail disc purchases in sales or special offers.

Retail disk for the reasons above and until Nintendo sort the user accounts out your games are stuck on one console, for me this is a problem as i imagine in the future we will have a couple WiiU's in the household.

Retail always and forever, if you break or sell your Wii U or 3DS the buyer will have your games.

I bought MH3U because I want to pick my gamepad up and play. No need to swop discs first. Also because my kids play a lot too it would mean so much swopping that a chance at scratches is too high. For those two reasons I decided eshop for this time. But the hdd size and value I will buy disc games more.

If the game is only on e shop like the upcoming Ducktails I'll buy it but if it is the store I go store. Really against games going digital only

I mostly go retail. So many advantages ( reselling, physical box, won't be lost if your console breaks, no lengthy download times, etc.). I only buy digital if the game is extremely small in download size and/or if it's on sale for a good price.

I prefer retail as well. Since you can get it at a discount sometimes, and I like seeing my collection on my shelf lol. I only buy digital if I have no other option.

Retail rather then digital if for no other reason then the games are tied to the console rather then your account. There are other reasons too already mentioned in this thread. I suppose for digital only games there is no choice but even those I would be reluctant to download for the reason I mentioned regards accounts.
