Not surprising considering what happened to tales of graces on the wii. Now we'll NEVER get the series on wii u even though we got a inferior 3ds version of tales of the abyss worldwide.

2 rpg's are not enough I just mad because the 3ds can get a inferior tales of the abyss port while wii u gets NOTHING!!!!!!

Seems Vita is getting most of the remakes and PS3 are getting the newer titles, the thing is that Vita won't be getting any localized games any time soon.

Tales of games sell more on Sony consoles anyway, so it's not surprising that the devs have a bias.

This is in no way a confirmation that there'll never be a Tales game on the Wii U. It just means that there aren't any plans to develop one at the moment. Hideo Baba said that there aren't any plans to develop Tales for other next-gen consoles at the moment either, so this doesn't only apply to the Wii U. However, we'll more than likely see a Tales game on these consoles in the future.

@nintendofreak247 no plans mean fat chance you know! I love how people don't take "no plans" seriously lol. Look at all the games not coming to wii u for example they always say "no plans."
Back in early 2011, Reggie Fils-Aime stated that there were currently no plans to release a successor to the Wii.
Fast forward a few months later, and the Wii U was unveiled at E3 2011.
I rest my case.

The console's only been out for six months, calm yourself. It has plenty of years ahead of it, and in any of those years, there's a decent possibility that a Tales game will come out. Nothing's set in stone just yet, positive or negative.

Calm myself? yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaah no. because the 3ds gets a tales game, wii u will not go figure. Also what years?!?!?!?!?! It's having a abymal 2013 so far!

Obviously a lot of you didn't read the article or are just plain stupid. To the OP... seriously? Why get people worked up? The article clearly states there is no Tale planned for next Gen systems. The only reason the Wii U was specifically named was because someone specifically asked about it.
The only reason why wii u's support is bad because people got turned off of wii u because of the original wii which was a horrible system by the way.
