If this is a true sequel i will be the happiest person alive! What i don't understand is  doesn't Nintendo own this franchise? so why are they asking for funding?

Would have liked a direct sequel but the same kind of experience is also vey welcomed!

The only bad thing i take from ED is that when i finished - which i loved every step of the way - i just had no will to play it again. Don`t know why. But seeing as this is episodic, i can replay just some part and that`s it.

They are billing it as a direct sequel, according to the IGN article.  I wish Nintendo would up and publish this.

I don`t know what`s the difference between kickstarter and crowdfunding, but from the likes of it it`s coming to Wii U. Wouldn`t be surprised if Nintendo is actually making this a Wii U exclusive.

Still, Gonintendo posted a story about the info it was found on the now remeved website and it seems PC and Wii U are the main focus for now: http://www.gonintend...story&id=201817

Thanks for the correction, the info about it being an actual sequel was in the pulled webpage that showed the platforms.  At the time is was listed as Shadow of the Ancients.  It might as well be a sequel, though, it looks like Eternal Darkness hands down.  They are even going to have sanity events.

I think this game uses the story that was ED2. But, as it appears, Nintendo isn't involved so it can't be a sequel.

It was quite simply the scariest game of all time. There were times me and my friend were freaked out after playing the game. We was playing, for example, and alone in the house. We thought we heard something. But shrugged it off as a noise from the game (the game does random stuff when you go insane).

Next thing we know someone is pounding on my window making us jump.

The game is truly an amazing game.
