Pretty, interesting. Wish I could of been alive during this time.

That's really cool. I love seeing things like this. I never really try to spot the differences between now and then. I usually like to spot similarities, things both times had in common and haven't changed much.

I'm impressed at how good it looked, but not surprised seeing as even back then film was capable of extremely high resolutions, many times exceeding what we are now used to on HD screens. It was only the screens and projectors that couldn't display it's true resolution.

Now I'm gonna search for more footage like this.

Thinking about doing some color grading correction. Just to see it without that 'aged fil filter' ( which i know isnt used, lol)

What the world needs is more geniuses with humility, there are so few of us left

You wish you lived during world war 2?

Yes.

Got a problem?

Considering this video takes place after the Great Depression and Collapse of Wall Street, I'd be happy.

Economic recovery takes time. War rations?

Imagine how it felt to live in 1939 when the internet and all this useful stuff didn't exist yet.

There isn't much to imagine there. If you lived during that time you wouldn't have had any of that, let alone know anything about it. So you would still be living an enjoyable life.

It would pretty much be.. a world without technology. I wouldn't say though there wasn't no useful stuff, they made use of what the technology at the time limited them to.
