The competition for the Nintendo Wii U, the PlayStation 4 and XBox One, have had their prices revealed in their company conferences. Sony’s PlayStation 4 will launch at $399 in autumn 2013 while Microsoft’s Xbox One will be sold $499, with no release date given. Nintendo’s Wii U currently sells for $299 for the basic and $349 for the deluxe. The Wii U clearly will be selling as the cheapest console.
Also, Sony will not be imposing any fee on pre-used games nor does the PlayStation 4 have to be connected to the internet.
However, many fan favourite series have revealed games for the PlayStation 4 and XBox One, including Kingdom Hearts 3, Metal Gear Solid V, and Final Fantasy XV. At this point, it appears any console could have the upper hand by the end of E3.
