Finally, now we can stop this nonsense. This info comes from a GameSpot stage demo with Mark Rubin.

- don’t want to talk about it yet because they “want to be mysterious”
- PR won’t let him talk
- probably not launching November 5th
- will launch when next-gen versions launch

Hopefully its as good as the BOP2 Port.

This is good news. Now all we need is Destiny and GTA V confirmed to compete with the other next gen consoles.

You know, it amazes me, they are releasing it again on a Nintendo system yet I keep hearing that they still don't have the DLC map packs on BO2. Wow.

Exactly Soul, exactly. Why not show it at E3, why do they want it to be a mystery? I think Nintendo may still have some secerts in store for us.

Because again, why not show us this game at E3?

Glad to hear that Call of Duty: Ghosts will be coming to the Wii U. We might as well get this out of the way: No, we will not be getting DLC for it. LOL

Gamestop still isn't accepting preorders.  The sales guy tried to tell me he was at e3 and ghosts wasn't there.  I told him it was during a closed door panel for press only.  They need to officially officially announce this thing now.  We all know its coming, why keep everyone in the dark?

You are right. In fact, the official Call of Duty website makes no mention of a Wii U port anywhere, which could be telling since they already have forum and pre-order sections for the Xbox360, XboxOne, PS3, PS4, and the PC. Looking back at the source of this topic's article, it may be too soon to categorize a Wii U release of Call of Duty: Ghosts as "official."

No, they've said it's coming, e3insider even posted it on their site, but it was removed shortly after it made the news rounds.  IW and Nintendo are intentionally holding it back, for what reason your guess is as good as mine.  I only hope that there is a Direct coming in the short term with an official announcement or they announce bundles or something.

Well, the odds are that it will be coming to the Wii U, regardless of the linked article. The only time a COD title hasn't been ported to Nintendo in the Wii era was the second Modern Warfare title. Of course, that does cause a bit of hesitation on my part to conclude it is a sure thing since said missing title was an Infinity Ward release as well.

While I think the hastily written article that was linked is a good sign, it is hardly an official announcement. At best, it is third-hand information with minimal details included.

I do think that Ghosts will be another chapter in a Nintendo port of a Call of Duty title: late in announcement, in the back of the line when it comes to developer support, and it will continue the trend (without exception) of Nintendo players getting no DLC. It isn't an ideal situation for us COD playing Nintendo fans, but I will be glad to play another round of COD on the only platform that provides motion control support for the series. :)

From the link's link http://www.charliein...in-development/

UPDATE 2: Looks like Mark Rubin wasn’t confirming anything to EuroGamer. He’s unsure if they are releasing a Wii U version, and he can’t talk about it at this time.

It's sadly still not confirmed but is hopeful

Hopefully we don't see Activison complaining about sales, if i had a penny for every time i heard a developer complain about sales despite the fact they didn't advertise the WiiU version of the game or provide DLC or pushed the launch date so far back that people have already moved on.

Heck on a Watch_Dogs ad, the WiiU version was placed toward the back of game box list, even PS3 and 360 were in front, it's almost as if their trying not to sell on the WiiU. Sure PS3 & 360 versions draw in more profit but theres not excuse for it now.

That's a good point. Activision's and Infinity Ward's excuse of poor sales loses quite a bit of legitimacy if they never put in any advertising time for the Wii U port. COD, like sports titles, have a habit of drawing in the nontraditional gaming crowd, so why would said crowd look for COD on the Wii U if it hasn't been advertised to them?

Isn`t it strange that Nintendo´s Call of Duty games don`t get an immediate confirmation?

Don`t know if the same happened to BO2, but the Wii and NDS games were always confirmed/revealed later.

I think it will happen again. My guess: on a ND, Nintendo will reveal the game and hopefully a 3DS version, too.
