As you know, Kojima is the father of the MGS series. He's expressed interest many times that he wants to be done with it. He has also said he was burnt out before Konami simply won't allow this. They know that the MGS is a cashcow, so they wouldn't allow the mastermind to simply walk away. I see him being stuck developing MGS games until the end of his career, what do you think?

He will probably leave just like Inafune left Capcom.

He should end after 5, because he wants to. I want to see him work on a Silent Hill, or a Zone of the Enders, or a Policenauts.

Honestly, Konami's full of s**t. They totally did not impress anyone last year, especially the Year of Silent Hill which epically failed. Without Metal Gear and Kojima I don't think they'll be around anymore, Kojima will most likely go to another publisher for years to come, he likes his work so he might aswell be like Miyamoto. He always has a way to squeeze in another game that can make sense in the MGS Story line. Or make a new IP like that other popular hard to find DS game. Lunar Knights i think its the name?

MGS5 should be his last MGS game, a talent like him should not be restricted to moving on and trying new things, it's wrong.
