Companies such as Capcom and Namco took advantage of the opportunity to show exclusive content & new material at previous Evo tournaments. It would be nice if Nintendo did the same.

For people who clearly didn't read the rest of the thread, they went back on their statement: Melee will be streamed. The title should be updated with this info.

Wow. Nintendo could have made it a win-win by making a deal where they have Nintendo commercial spots during the stream.

I heard the news.  But thanks for thinking of me just in case.

I figured Nintendo would make it a "win-win" rather than just play the part of some Draconian, Microsoftian empire.
