What's that? Nintendo already making the unpredictable? Yes it is, I can't believe Nintendo is going through with this just because of poor sales. Although I like the idea of another slide pad, it's just that I'm worried of a few things. One, I don't know if it will fit right in my pocket now. Two, I don't know how comfortable this attachment is. Three, Nintendo not putting this thing on, in the first place. Thank you Nintendo for treating us like nothing.

...You seem to be borderline freaking out here...

1. It makes it slightly larger than the original DS, length wise. If that can fit in your pocket, this can.
2. According to IGN, very.
3. Many reasons, including not finding it necessary. They only made it for Capcom to get MH on board; You should probably instead be asking why Cappy thinks they need it so badly.

So, no. They aren't doing this due to poor sales and they aren't treating people like nothing. Games will NOT force the second slide pad and it's not uncomfortable or expensive. Any more questions? ;)

I'm sorry, but that photo looks fake, but if it is real that'll be awesome. Even though I have yet to buy a new ds. (Still rockin' my DS Lite) It seems like about every five or so months they got a new game changing handheld device. Almost like they can't decided what to stick with and they are just throwing new ones at people to see what will stick. No offense don't hate me for what I wrote, just voicing my opinion.

This has been confirmed real by both Nintendo and Capcom. Both Monster Hunter Tri-G and Monster Hunter 4 will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS, and the second Circle-Pad accessory will be bundled with Monster Hunter Tri-G.

The release date is very well placed. The PS Vita comes out December 17th but just seven days before that (December 10th) Monster Hunter Tri G and the Expansion Slide Pad come out to slam it before it's even released. Then in 2012 it puts the nail in the head with Monster Hunter 4.

Well I'm looking forward to these. I'm guessing Monster Hunter Tri G won't get localized but Monster Hunter 4 will.
