I'm learning animation (using fireworks) and I've made my first GIF!! Hope you like it (sorry if its too small, I made it small cuz I wanted to do it pixel by pixel (if you know what I mean) like, you can notice on the heart and their smiles )

yeah I know, I was bored and had ran out of ideas I had to try it XD

I've added my fourth one, and I know its crappy and pretty sick but it was really funny when I was making it cuz I put a load of blood on the second frame that has blood on it and it looked hilarious cuz it went from a pixel of blood to about 20 anyways, enjoy

I've just noticed that they are getting worse for every one I post XD The first were pretty good and then, well... lolz, I'll try to make a better one next time

Try to just do ones you think are nice.
Don't just produce tons of them, it's better to just make a few awesome ones... (Just a heads-up)

As the forums resident animator (who takes ages to do stuff because he has no dedication -w-). I'm going to geek-talk you about animation, so I hope you understand this stuff;
Your frame-rate is ridiculously slow and the animations are painful to watch. The frame-rate is how many pictures come up in one second. With these it looks about... I don't know, about 2? This makes the animation choppier= it doesn't look animated, it looks like a slideshow. I work with easily 50 frames per second. This makes the animation look WAY better, especially if your not making enough frames (pictures) themselves, which brings me onto the next paragraph.

Your not making enough frames. That is why your animation isn't looking very good, after my first animation, I admit I wasn't using sprites, but my first animation was better than your fourth, why? A high frame rate and a high amount of frames full stop. The less frames there is the worse the animation looks. Even with a really slow frame-rate if you put in enough frames it CAN work.

yeah, but on fireworks the fastest speed you can put it on is uhhh... like 2 per second or whatever (it says 1, but it doesn't mean fps, so...)

Oh god that's terrible.
You might want to use some freeware. Plus that is no excuse for my second paragraph.
