So the movie The Conjuring has been getting really good reviews, which surprised me a little bit. Most of these kinds of movies get awful reviews, especially horror movies. I'm guessing it is pretty frightening. As someone who is fascinated by the paranormal, it is very tempting to go see this movie. Apparently the budget wasn't very high and they didn't use very much special effects. It is also based on a true story. I know, most paranormal movies are, but it seems this one is more realistic than the others.

I saw it. I also saw Insidious and I thought that the plot lines were VERY similar. I thought it was scary. But sometimes, I didn't know if I was supposed to be scared or laugh.

I may see it tonight. I got all those other movies just haven't watch them. My girl doesn't like scary movies and gotta watch then in day time lol.

 

But people said that evil dead was scary which it wasn't. My 4yr old watch it and wanted to watch it again he said it was funny lol.

 

And dark skies was cool weird n crazy but not scary.

I watched it several days ago with my wife.

Although it is brimming with classic horror cliches, it is a decent movie that I enjoyed a lot. It highly exceeded my expectations.

Its like the best horror film in years, its not like those jump scare horror films you see all the damn time. Its really good. I recommend you watch it at night.
