First time I played windwaker I beat the first boss, on the first try without loosing a heart. No, with this damn motion crap, ive been playing the boss for 3 hours with no victory. I just cant do it, using the wii pad with motion to try and boomerang the vines is far too frusterating.

 

Skyward Sword motionplus blows this away. (other than flying the bird)

I know what you're talking about. Because the forest haven boss was also pissing me off with the motion controls. Other than that they work fairly well.

you humans cant use the motion for the complete full range controls because of your puny meatsack limitations like bones and joints.

So use the right stick to get lookin where you want, and then use the motion controls to quickly highlight what you want.

Also, dont forget, its far easier to move link while in first person now than it was on the cube.

protip* assign the boomerang to 'R'.
