i think ubisoft has done more for wii u than any other dev, personally.
Ubisoft has done more than most of the big "publishers" (which isn't hard seeing as most have just dropped Wii U like a stone), not developers.
Criterion didn't just release a shoddy port of Need for Speed but actually made it look better on Wii U. Yes the textures were just a toggle, but they worked on the lighting too which made it (at least for a while, not sure if they ported those improvements back to PC) look nicer than PC (the lighting obviously not the lower poly models). All that despite being owned by EA who did the LEAST for the Wii U, bigging it up before launch than slamming it for selling badly despite all their launch day ports being carp.
Then there is SEGA who seem to still be supporting Nintendo.
The proof of the pudding will be seeing how Ubisoft support Wii U AFTER their new games come out. Refusing to release DLC on the Wii U version certainly doesn't look promising, but I think that is partly Nintendos fault for not having a HDD. I suspect its much harder to patch games on Wii U than other platforms.
