Hey guys. I'm new to this forum and the game I'm hooked on right now is Wind Waker HD which was release on the eShop on September 20th before the physical version. I bought it a couple days ago and I love it. I'm currently on Dragon Roost Cavern, because I have to go to school and all that crap. Soo did anyone else download it? Where are you in the game?

welcome to the forum. im getting the game october 5th. i just prefer to have the retail copy.

Thanks for the welcome and I personally have no preference for digital or physical. I just really wanted it because I love Zelda. And Mario, how could you not?

I love Zelda and Mario too but I'm not going to risk downloading digital content especially full retail games until Nintendo fix their account system as its currently broken. By that I mean any digital content you download is tied to the console itself and not your user account. Not to mention the deluxe edition has a measly 32GB of storage so its pointless downloading digital content especially retail games. So no thanks. I will wait for my limited edition retail copy with Ganondorf figurine to be delivered this Thursday.

Tying the content to the console prevents game-sharing which is a problem on the consoles that have more liberal account systems and allow games to be re-downloaded infinitely on any number of consoles.  Nintendo's system has its own issues but it's not "broken."

It can also be 'untied' fromone console and 'tied' back to another, its a quite a bit of a pain, but as long as you understand how the system works and dont do something foolish, like get rid of your console while the account is still tied to it.... You dont have to worry about losing everything.

You can also download all of your games to the system and then sell the system with the games which doesn't work on other consoles if it's tied to your personal information.

I prefer the accounts but this way does have its benefits.

I beat the game in 2003 or so. I may play it again in 10 more years when it is rehashed for the Wii U 2.

Yes. They are dumb enough to call it that. I prefer the Wii Y though.

i would use the content on it as a excuse to sell it for a really high price.

also i did download the game today but i play it occasinly, the game is good, also at the place past dragoon place. dont plan on 100% this one though.
