I think we'll get a Luigi's Mansion game for the Wii U at some point in the next couple years, but the question is "when." The 3DS game did too well for Nintendo not to bring one to the Wii U. I'd rather the developers make an entirely new Luigi's Mansion for the Wii U, but since I don't have a 3DS, I'll take Dark Moon too! Those HD screens look beautiful!

I actually saw this a couple days ago when searching for Luigi's Mansion Wii U on google. One site listing something is one thing, but another site following suit definitely adds more intrigue. At this point, it's tough to imagine it being released before the end of the year. But it wouldn't surprise me to see it in 2014. I'm hopeful for it for sure, even though I'd prefer a completely new Luigi's Mansion for Wii U.

Strange move imo, since it's only been some months out on the 3DS...
Make a bundle with the original Luigi's Mansion HD remake, and I might buy it!

I haven't bought i on 3DS because people are saying its nothing like the original plus you don't get the same spooky effect on a small screen, even the XL.
I would be much more likely to get it on Wii U and I would "hope" they might actually make it their first mode supporting stereoscopic 3D on Wii U too, for those of us with 3DTVs. I don't tend to use it for games as most games it doesn't add much, but for THIS game it should do with it being designed for it.

I agree. The last thing the Wii U needs is ports of 3DS games. If they want to release a Luigi's Mansion game then it should be a new game altogether with new gameplay mechanics that are appropriate for the Wii U.

I think a 3ds port would be a waste of resources. I suppose some folks who are Nintendo fans (Wii owners) but don't have a 3ds might see the title and be enticed but I think a new game would be better. That said, I'd like to see Metroid and Starfox before another Mario/Luigi game.
