So... are you obsessive and collect every Heart Piece and Energy Tank or do you just try to reach the end without worrying about percentages?
For me I try to attain the highest percent possible but I don't usually reach 100% completion
unless the game is really good or really easy.
So how about you, you can list some games you got a really high completion score on or if you don't want to then you don't have to. I'm not trying to turn this into an epeen contest either, but you guys aren't really like that anyways so... where was I... Oh right games with a high completion score or 100%


Lemme see for me.

Both Mario Galaxies, first was easy the sequel's green star hunt and final run were quite the challenge though.

Um... NMH both. I got all the clothing, does that count? I'd suppose it does.

I got 78-90% completion in the trilogy games but I can never seem to find everything and I hate using walkthroughs.

I got all of the extra stuff In Majora's mask, like the great fairy sword and deity mask but I still don't hunt for the Heart pieces.

That's all that really comes to mind for me. Most games I only try to get to the end, or if there is multiple endings I'll get all of them but 100% has never been all that enticing to me.

So yeah... I'll stop talking now and just trail off into silence...

I always go for 100% the second time through. First time, I usually go blind. However, I changeed this for Kirby's Mass Attack

Depends on the game and how difficult and/or annoying it is to get everything...

Usually I get like nearly everything, I only get everything if it's fun to get everything and there's some kind of purpose behind it.

If there isn't, then I'd rather spend my time playing other games, than trying to get "bragging rights".

Hmm...
Both Mario Galaxies at 240% as I like to call it.
Sin and Punishment 2 at the hardest difficulty.
Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D: All medals
Final Fantasy Crystal Bearers: All medals at highest possible rank.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex: All intel and campaign on Veteran difficulty
Tatsunoko VS Capcom: Everything unlocked and purchased
Kingdom Hearts: Beat Sephiroth (that's all that really matters)

And there's probably a ton of Sega MS, Sega MD, SNES and PSOne games as well.

I've 100%ed Umineko 1 through half of 8 if that counts

Actually, the only non-kinetic game I've 100%ed would have to be... Majora's Mask. The game was just that awesome.

Oh, I forgot to mention Muramasa: The Demon Blade. Getting all the swords and fighting every single boss was quite fun.That game was also hard to find... along with Little King Story, I found them buried in a huge pile over at Future Shop. But yeah that game was great. Tried to beat it on that one shot kill difficulty and my god... I just can't do it.

I don't think I've ever actually completed a game 100%. I normally just aim to complete the storyline when I'm playing games and then go back to collect everything just before/after the end. Normally a new game comes out before I get 100% though, so the game doesn't ever get completed. Pilotwings Resort is a great example of this. I was working towards 100% completion, but I've hardly touched it since I got Ocarina of Time.
