I got enough money over christmas to buy an i pad and not sure if i should, any feedback from someone whohas one would be very appreciated.

If you have an iPod, iPhone, Smartphone, it's the same thing but bigger.
So yeah, you might use it instead of those, but the thing here is, it feels the same, nothing new.

I wouldn't.
But I dislike Apple products, I'd not get an android tablet either though.
Maybe a phone, I got an s4 for my birthday, it's pretty super.

I have a ipad air and recommend it. Previously had ipad 2 but upgraded as getting slow

Out of all of the technology in the world, you could do better than an iPad. I have one, and it's full of despair. The only I do on it is play a few flash games. The internet isn't worth it because I have a laptop for that. everything else can be found on a phone. If you are set on getting an iPad or something similar, at least get a windows tablet or something.

Depends on what you will use it for.

 

I like android for my phone . It's just more you can do.

 

But the iPad is nice for web browsering, listening to music and playing games like pvz, clash of clan, candy crush etc......

If you feel the need for a tablet, go for it. Personally I'd stay away from anything Windows based as W8 is in a pretty unstable state right now, but iPads are usually a good way to go.

Honestly, it depends on how you currently use your electronic devices and what yo expect to do with the iPad. The iPad is nice for the right person, but coming from a non-Apple enviroment you might find it incredibly backwards in some ways.

Why would you want a simplified PC when you already have and know how to use a PC? Really, tablets look cool until you actually get one. Then you notice you wasted an obscene amount of money on a flash game player.

I have an iPad and it's very good, but I wouldn't recommend it for playing games on it... I downloaded and played a lot of games, but I got bored pretty fast; it doesn't compare to a 3DS, which is much, much better For everything else it is an excellent product, but I might be a little biased because I use mostly Apple products.

If you don't have other Apple Products it's maybe best to get Android. Cheaper and the OS is light years ahead of IOS. Open source so anyone can make an app for it where Apple is closed.

 

That said I almost never use it. Not because I don't think it's cool and a good. Just with a laptop I don't see much of a point when really I would browse the web and my Vita can do that just fine and it's smaller.

same. i don't understand the hype. just seems like another well marketed shiny toy that everybody's getting because of capitalism/peer-pressure.
