Parents. The 2Ds is specifically designed for kids. It's cheaper, no 3D so parents don't need to worry and because it has no hinges and is made of sturdier plastic it is a lot more durable. So yes it's a kid's toy.

 

Okay it's pretty much made for kids, end of story we went too much off topic.

Damn I already ordered it for $190, should arrive tomorrow. Oh well I don't even care, just want it NOW lol.

Just thought I'd update that I received my XL a couple days ago and transferred my load of games with no issues. I don't know how I got by with the original after using these big screens all weekend. It's just an all around upgrade. It feels and looks more solid, feels way better in my hands, and the screens look so good.

I see myself getting a lot more use out of my XL in the next year than I did since launch with my original 3ds. I like it that much more.
