So have you ever imported a game from Japan?

I have one. It's one of my most treasured DS games!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!

Yeah, I imported Pokemon White a few years ago. I almost imported Black 2 but decided against it, but it's no longer a problem with the worldwide releases.

Well so far PokemonX/Y had a worldwide release. We can't just assume that future main title Pokemon games will do the same thing.

Well so far PokemonX/Y had a worldwide release. We can't just assume that future main title Pokemon games will do the same thing.

They set a standard for future Pokemon games with a worldwide release. Just like the fact we'll never get another single "3rd version" with just a bit more content, we've seen full fledged sequels, and with that they set the expectations for the 3rd version just as high as the original 2 versions.

It just doesn't make sense to make the effort for a worldwide release if you're not going to do it from now on. I'm sure it was difficult this first time, but they'll be working on future projects with the prior knowledge of simultaneous localization.

Ouendan 2 was really awesome. It and EBA deserve sequels.

I've imported quite a few games from Japan for a number of different consoles in the past the last ones being for PS3. I don't do it so much now though.
