Any word on if it plays music losslessly, or does it have crappy compression? Cause the money spent on noise cancellation could be much better spent improving quality (if that's the case).

Hell my S3 is still going strong. Unfortunately the constant flow of new technology has created lots of technophiles and of course tech companies will take advantage.
