Aang was forced to grow up, the reason he had to sacrifice his childhood was because he ran away from his responsiiblities and the world went into war because of him vanishing.
Korra was forced and lied to to stay in specific approved locations, so I don't know what you're trying to go about on here.
If Aang didn't run away the fire nation would have killed him along with the rest of the Air Nomads.

Like Portal said, it's sad to know this will not only this be the last Book for LoK series, but also the Avatar franchise. It's been nearly 10 years since Avatar debuted.

Nick should have at least gaven Avatar a movie (not that HORRIBLE live action one...)
They should have made the last four episodes of ATLA season 3 a movie, that would be so awesome omg

At least we have the possibility of future platinum games (if the new one does well) and possible comics/graphic novels... But they just won't compare to a series.

Avatar doesn't really work too well as a video game... (I own the book one and two games on Wii and the book 3 game on PS2)
And comics don't really give the same feel as watching it...

I'm talking about the upcoming Platinum game, it looks promising. Platinum always tends to make a fun universe.
